Co-op Food - Mottingham

My local supermarket, I have always found it to have a good range fairly priced. Recently prices have increased by a huge amount on some products which has found me driving further afield for my shopping.
I know price increases are everywhere, but there are some items that are now a similar price to Sainsbury’s and M&S so given the choice that’s where I’ll be heading.

The first time I’ve ever left a review! Credit where credits due.
The most friendliest, helpful staff with absolutely no hesitation in helping me out when collecting a large parcel with an active 2 year old in tow 🙏🏻

Well laid out, good for those last minute forgotten things, can be pricey

Not well stock, quite disappointing, expensive and not much choice for vegan food

HI I MUST ADMIT I DO LIKE SHOPPING IN MY LOCAL COMMUNITY CO / OP. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF & IF YOU GO IN THE RIGHT TIME'S OF THE DAY OR EARLY EVENING LOAD'S OF BARGAIN S DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. SOMETIMES LIKE THE OTHER DAY I SPENT £10 ON REDUCED STUFF & ORIGINALLY WITH ALL OF MY SHOPPING I SAVED AT LEAST £20 OR MORE WHAT A BARGAIN. SO NO SKIMPING OR SCRAPPING YOU CAN LIVE A GOOD LIFE & EAT WELL IF YOU ALL USE YOUR HEAD. AND THEN THE PENNIES & THE POUNDS LOOK AFTER YOU FOR A BETTER LIVING & A BETTER LIFE STYLE 🤠

It is a Saturday night …closing time is at 22:00. The shop has closed before the stated time on Google! Poor! If you are going to change opening hours then at least reflect it everywhere else!

Well time has moved on since the following was posted

Now with serveral self scan checkouts so much better.

Sadly the issues continue when sometimes the person who should always be waiting to help with the self scan (lack of codes, faulty weighting machine etc) wander off for no apparent purpose.

Of course the "good selection" has been hit by Brexit shortages and some lines disappeared completely at times...

Old post - (A good selection of foods, shame that the staff think it fine to walk around the store getting cigarettes for one customer while others queue and wait.

If smokers want cigarettes get in the queue where they are or put cigarettes by the tills like in the old days.)
