Argos Newbury Park (Inside Sainsbury's)

The place is spacious. The place is well stocked, however the staff when I went there they talk amongst each other, which is not bad, don't mind a little chatter. I said excuse me and they said just a moment, and continued to chat about what they will do on the weekend for 5 or so minutes by that time 4 others also needed help.

It all well and good they are being social and talking with each other, however they should drop it and continue later as soon as a customer set foot and ask them for help.

Ordered and paid online to collect the PS4 game Tekken 7. Age restriction as can be seen on the items page on Argos is 16. The instruction on the email collection confirmation just says you need to be at least that age to collect, which in this case is 16. Went today to collect, unfortunately I didn't have any photo ID with me, but was happy to show all my bank cards, and I even had pictures on my phone of my passport and driving licence. The lady with a Bob cut at the collection desk said you need to be 25 to collect. But as you can see that's no were stated in either the items page on Argos nor the email collection confirmation. And I also do not look younger than 16 I can assure you. Just another example where common sense went out the window. Told them to cancel and walked out.

The shop was clean and presentable, but the email didn't mention that I would need ID for the Lego set that I was picking up on account of it being 18+. This caused a minor delay as I had to go home to collect my ID. In addition, the box was in terrible condition, presumably from something heavy being placed on top of the box. This was a shame because the Lego was a gift.

On a more positive note, the customer service received was good and the lady did her job well.

Usually I visit the Ilford Agors, and this was my first time to visit Newbury park.
Went to collect a large item which didnt fit in the Sainsbury's trolley. I requested Saddiq (the guy who was serving me) to allow me to use the Argos trolley to take the Product to my car, but Saddiq didnt cooperate with me. He didnt allow me to use the trolley by saying that I am not insured to use the Arogs trolley. Then I requested him to accompany me with the trolley but he refused saying that it wasnt his job to help away from the Argos serving counter.
I got extremely rude and said that I should have booked a delivery instead of collection.
I will never visit this Argos Again!

If I could use Zero, I would! I Have never met such a Vulgar 'Store manager' that Argos have allowed them to represent their Brand!
I can see on other reviews here that they have been subjected to the appalling levels of customer service by the store Manager - Nazia. Absolutely no people skills, simply dismissive, a person who seems to be taking full advantage of the little authority she seems to have gained from being a store manager! I simply went to pick up an online order, which she refused me with no reason and decided to cancel the order as she decided it was fit to do so! Having called customer services at Argos, they was very apologetic of this individuals behavior, however unable to re-process the order! After months of waiting for the item to be in stock, I have now lost out due to her incompetence! Reading through the reviews here, I can see an all to familiar story with Nazia! Argos needs to listen to its loyal customers and not allow anyone with this attitude to represent them! Will not be shopping here again! AVOID!!!

Vulgar customer service here. Avoid this place and shop elsewhere.

The manager - Nazia is 1) rude, 2) ill-informed on policies, 3) unhelpful

If any customer service representatives are reading this, please can you re-train this manager and pay attention to the customer service levels here.

Good shopping Center , quite place , ample parking space . You get here via bus, trains or car. You can find here big Sainsbury’s, pound stretcher and big sport direct. Argos and Tu store is also available in Sainsbury’s store. It’s kind of small mall
