£100 price increase !

Went to the fireplace shop, saw a gas fire priced at £694 which we wanted to buy. Picked up the price display marker and took it to the sales staff, after a phone call it was decided that there were no more fires of this type at the manufacturer's. We asked if we could buy the one on display, attached to where we had picked the price tag up from. The sales girl went off to ask her manager. She came back and told us that we could buy the one on display but that the price tag was wrong, it would now cost £795. We asked to see the manager, "yes" he said, "it should be £995 but we will sell it for £795. "that can't be right the price tag says £694, its just gone up by £100", we asked to see his boss. The boss, Lorenzo came out armed with a print out from the citizens advice bureau web site, "we cant sell it for less than we paid for it, you can buy it for £795" was the short of the conversation. We left, no purchase for us, no sale for them. What a dishonourable way to do business.

We have had the most amazing experience with this company. We knew nothing about wood burners and they spent time with us to explain the difference between the products and what would work in our sized lounge. Every member of the team were so helpful. Everything is all fitted and we adore the final product and has made our kitchen look amazing! We look forward to working with the team at lower barn farm again in the future.

We had a multi-fuel burner fitted, which needed the old fireplace opening up, new steel lintel to support, fully rendered inside and plaster finished around it.
Guys were super-professional, right the way from Sale (Nick, very helpful and knowledgeable...and patient!) to pre-install survey and QA (Andy: Surveyor and adviser for what will be best for us) to fitting (Paul and Ben, who kept dust to a minimum, worked really hard and gave us a good tutorial on how to use the new toy)

Will use again: got our yearly chimney sweep and burner maintenance planned in already, and will be back there to buy some new fireplace tools, logs, kindling.

Very happy customer here indeed - definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, came in at busiest time and still got seated immediately. Staff were very apologetic about it being completely manic and suggested food could be up to an hour wait. I dont think we waited more than 30 mins from sitting down. Lovely breakfast too!

Recently cancelled a log burner with this company after paying a 50% deposit towards a log burner. The service received was so bad I felt it necessary to cancel the order . Now all I am doing is chasing to get my money back as the company feel there is no rush to refund. Avoid this company at all costs . Terrible managers ,terrible morals and a shocking customer service 0 out of 10

I recently purchased a log burner from Lowbarn Farm.
It arrived quickly and was well packed
Unfortunately due to the fact I didn’t check the size before purchase it was not suitable for our use!!
I expected to be stuck with the stove but I was extremely surprised when I spoke to Luke the manager who made the return and refund so easy and simple!!
So well done Luke and Lowbarn Farm for a great Customer Service and a great returns policy

Brilliant service from start to finish. Got exactly what we were looking for. Great choice of fires, surrounds etc. Stuart was very helpful in the showroom and always phoned with updates. Quick turnaround. Jamie the fitter was excellent. Also serviced my log burner after he'd installed gas fire and surround. Highly recommend.

Thank you to Lower Barn Farm and Ignite team Paul and Weal's for our stove and installation. Our stove has been keeping us warm since December. Paul and Weal were respectful and friendly and gave us a lot of tips to ensure we make the most out of the stove too.
