There is a manager in here that is very helpful and polite, however the rest of the staff aren't. Every item that I have bought from Argos has not lasted the length of time you would expect them to, especially electrical. Home deliveries do not turn up and when they do parts are always missing. I haven't used argos in a year and I have no plans to ever use them again unless desperate

Very helpful staff found the items I needed but because 1 item was on line it would cost £8+ for home delivery next day bit much for something that cost £6.49. Left empty handed.

Went in Friday first thing two people working not one till were you could bye things male member returning items the female member stood waiting for the male member to finish because she didn't know what she was doing two people already walked out as no one was served people who wanted to buy stuff I waited 5 more minutes and walked out of the store because 2 members of staff were both trying to sort out 1 person not one said sorry for taking so long I got the item from b+m were i went in picked up the item and when I came out the 2 members were still trying to sort out the same message VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WELL DONE

Went to the Bootle store and received very poor customer service and because of this I left the store unhappy. I went to the Argos Broadway store and was dealt with by a very friendly young lady who was so helpful and I purchased what I wanted at Broadway. I will never use Argos Bootle Again.

My girlfriend bought me a Seagate external hard drive for Christmas, upon opening it and connecting it to my Xbox One I realised that the was a fault as the on screen prompts didn't appear so I could take the next steps. I tried taking it back to the shop with the receipt only to be told that I couldn't take it back as it says on the box for use on your PC and not Xbox, even though it's widely known that you can use these HDD's on games consoles and it even says on the Argos reviews for the product. Not happy to be left with a potentially bbroken HDD.

Bought an item, stopped working after 2 months, store manager said it was accidental damage, no exchange available. 130 down the drain, funny thing is that there is no damage to the item, screw argos.

A real let down for the Argos name. Poor customer service from the manager if you are wanting to exchange an item. Will try palm you off with the potential accidental damage excuse even though the manufacturer has provided a fault code for exchange purpose. The manager proceeded to gaude me into becoming angry which isn't too difficult as I suffer from BPD. Due to Ian the store manager I will never shop in an argos store again, he even proceeded to ban me as a way to stop me exchanging the item. I let t guy e manufacturer of the item know who are also making a complaint as argos are representing BT as they sell their products. AVOID THIS STORE OF YOU CAN!!!
