Terrible customer service. I visited the store in Old Kent Road - London this afternoon. Extremely inefficient staff. Even with having two managers present in the store, the staff seemed to be very confused and not being able to deal properly with any of the different type of orders they received online or direct ones from the store. I was literally waiting for 25 minutes witnessing the chaos behind counter with employees bumping into each other and managers shouting names. It was not until I asked to speak to the manager that I got someone coming to assist me. The manager I spoke to was a bit a rude and asked to order online if I didn't want to wait. There were lots of people queing and no one even notices or went to ask or see how could speed up the service.

Location bit out the way. Outside is brick and slightly dull with some litter around. Inside clean and quite tidy. Ordering machines work generally ok (one froze). Pretty well stocked as well. The person I had at collection point was bit rude and robotic. "Receipt." , and he put down the item and just stared into distance without any response and walked away. Mostly ignoring anything I said. Wouldn't expect all smiles and bouncing with energy, but wouldn't expect a wall either. At least show some acknowledgement.

I have tried to return a camera after a few days I purchased it because it just wasn't what I expected to be. I have returned to the store I brought it, with all the original components and packaging. The lady who assisted me through my enquiry, spotted a very small scratch on an easy changeble plastic lens cap. Because of that I was denied the refund. Now if I could even have the refund through a gift card, I would have been more then satisfied, instead I will not buy on Argos again and resell the camera. Thank you very much

After ordering online, the lady couldn't read my email saying it wasn't due to be collected. The email.clearly said it had arrived please collect before a specific date. I said you probably have to scan it. She refused, tried to argue with me to come back. I kept saying it has arrived and what part of the email do you not understand? Eventually she finally asked someone they said well you scan it. Doh I'd already said that! I got my items no apology, nothing. How rude!!!

Staff were very friendly and straightforward, didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to collect!

I had to go there today a item i purchased 3.21 had a serious electrical fault luck has it it had a 2 year warranty . The manufactures gave me a replacement code to get a exchange. When got to the store and explained to the staff and gave them the Exchange code . They said they knew nothing about this procedure. When i suggested they call the service people who gave me the code to exchange it they said they have no dealings with the company that manufactured the product . After 15 minutes repeating myself to call the service number all was sorted after 25 minutes . Staff need better training on the exchange regulations and some CR would not go a miss either. Generally the staff are helpful but today was not good enough. It made me feel like a crook trying to to get something i was not entitled to under the warranty very embarrassed with customers looking at me . Hope for better days if i stay with Argos that is

DPD might actually get things correctly done under Agro's leadership 😂😂😂😂😜
