Wetherells Department Store Selby

Really nice store, enjoyed looking around, lots of interesting things good cafe and very good butchers. Will visit again.

It's great to see an independent department store like this still open. Sells a wide range of products from clothes to toys to furniture to much more across 3 floors. All stock from recognised brands.

The true gem of this store is the cafe on the 1st floor. Arches Coffee Lounge has a classic and quaint feel to it with a genuine homely comfort. The menu is perfect for somewhere to stop for a bite to eat offering home, fresh cooked meals with daily specials. I had the steak pie today which I thoroughly recommend.

Assistant covering for the regular assistant had a complete lack of knowledge of the departments product.
On return of the regular departments assistant the normal excellent service was received.
Possibly staff training was lacking?
Hence the deduction of 1 star.☹️

So pleased with our suite, excellent , quality, value and fantastic service. The delivery guys were brilliant. Love supporting our local department store. ❤️

A well established family ran department store in heart of Selby. Very helpful and friendly staff.
In store cafe has a good menu.

We visited Santa here this year and it was a wonderful experience, I would recommend it to anyone.
We have also spent time in the cafe and always get welcomed warmly by the staff when we have walked around the store.
Genuinely a lovely place to shop, eat and make Christmas memories.

Thankyou for sorting out a bed and delivery at short notice. The bed is stunning, had I had a mattress weatheralls would have taken it away. The guys built the bed for us so didn’t have to do anything. And Ron (I think his name is Ron) liaised with the supplier for us. Btw the supplier is a local firm so no imports how fab is that. Stress free, fabulous bed, and all before Christmas couldn’t ask for more.
