In-Excess - West End Store

Really good experience here. I wanted some wood that was 7feet long. They were selling lengths at 10feet long. They were brilliant in offering me not only a sharp saw but 2 tressles/ saw horses plus a tape measure so I could cut to the correct size.
Overall an excellent time here served by knowledgeable and friendly people.

The selection of decking / landscaping wood here is excellent value. I use it all time. Great for decorating supplies too, cheap hardware- well worth checking out before you go to one of the big DIY stores or trade counters.

I have been shopping here ever since it opened. My wife says I should have shares in the company by now. The staff are amazing and are always eager to help. Many of them have worked there for years. You won't beat them on price or quality, I can't rate them enough 👍👍👍

Really upset this store is closing and moving to the garden centre on winchester road. It was really handy to get all my electronic and tool stuff for work. Going the extra miles to the new store probably won't be worth the extra diesel and time. The shop was easy in easy out. Don't want to walk round a garden center to get to the tools etc.

Always happy to find a reason to visit this store because I usually find a few things I didn't know I needed. Queue outside and one way system in the store which gives opportunity to have a good look round. In past I've seen a few sets of tools I thought I wouldn't ever need only to be doing a job a few months later that would have been easier if I'd bought those tools. So don't pass a good thing by as they don't get repeated. Changed fork oil in bike last weekend, would have been done better with interchangable driver set I saw but didn't buy.

Always a great place get great value for money and a good friendly service. They had good handling of the covid 19 situation putting customers and colleagues welfare first. Because of this i give in excess five star rating top shop.

On entering a person has to take a basket so they know how many people are in the store. many are in the store. They're always friendly, and always have bargains in all departments.
I strongly recommend this store for D. I. Y, gardening, pets, etc. Much cheaper than larger stores.

Always love popping in here. Staff friendly and helpful (generally) and prices compare favourably. Get a lot of wood for projects from here but, alas, they will be moving to Fair Oak depot come the end if May 2021 ... will be sorely missed by locals and others who travel in.
