I love B&Q! This one is just right next to my house. It's big and well stocked. Always plenty member of staff around to ask for help. If you like diy that's the right place. Also don't forget to get the B&Q loyalty card. The click and collect is great. Spacious parking and also vending machine with drinks and snacks.

They cut sheet material to size which isn't just useful to fit things in the car, but they will make whole projects much easier. The cutting service has a professional and very helpful member since of staff operating the machine. Parking is free. A burger van is on site which is always a bonus 😁

My daughter and I needed tiles and flooring for her bathroom. We had measurements but no idea how many of both we needed. A huge big thank you to Ross who helped us get what we wanted, took it up to our car and loaded it in.

Came to this store as our local B&Q didn't have the items we need. A Click and Collect was raised for these items which were available at this store. On arrival, I made my way to the Customer Services counter and received a warm welcome. Despite a problem finding my order on the computer, the assistants remained friendly and professional at all times and my items were quickly located.

Not a very professional place.

Bought some screws which turned out to not be fit for purpose so returned them. Upon doing so, I was told that they were non refundable. I was perplexed. No signage up stating this, nobody told me prior to purchasing and considering this, you'd think they'd wanna put this right. Found the supervisor on the front desk to be rude and standoffish. Also ordered some other screws in it's place and was sold the wrong item so not only was I poorly treated on site, the items I was sold aren't fit for use so they've wasted my time too. Would recommend using another hardware specialist.

I would like to say thank you to the gentleman dealing with tiles at Hedgend store today. He was so helpful to my partner in getting the measurements and number of tiles he needed. Also he helped as well in the bathroom section with a lady assistant when buying a w.c. .He helped going through the till and pushed and unloaded the trolley into the car. Brilliant service all round.Thankyou.

The largest B&Q I've been to. Always seem to have everything I want & the staff are very helpful finding stuff amongst the many aisles. Plenty of parking spaces too.

It’s a big store and easy to find. Car park can be pretty busy at weekends. Easy access for the disabled.
Store security is on the lookout so if you “the look” about you you may be followed about.
Doesn’t always have what you need and staff can be thin on the ground.
I wish there were more senior citizens staff who know the trade and can be experienced and very knowledgeable.
Overall not bad. They did have a cafe at one time. Seems that’s gone from upstairs.
Caters for most of your DIY needs.
