Such a great store! Managed to get everything I need for my DIY project. The staff were really helpful and advised me on the best products to use too. Thanks again and I'll definitely be back!

Very helpful when you make enquiries .
When I went there last Thursday to buy a small hedge trimmer Mr Marsden informed me that a forced entry had been made to the business and a majority of the high priced stock was taken. He is now looking for suppliers that have not doubled their prices. He will order an item if it is not back in stock yet.
Alas the greatly reduced footfall brought on by withdrawal of our main bus service and above inflation increase in many of costs they have ceased to trade.
We will miss them for their trade and good advice.

Great hardware shop in the center of Spondon.
The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
There is everything from outdoor paints, bird food and feeders, plant food, pesticides, iron mongery, indoor paints, glues, silicone, tools and cleaning products, gardening equipment and decorating sundries. If it isn't there you probably don't need it. If you haven't been in, you don't know what you are missing

Very experienced staff who know about their products very well which is great for when you need help and or advice.
The prices seem to be very competitive too. I was expecting high prices with it being a village shop but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Overall, I will always think of Marsden first when it comes to my DIY needs.

Staff always helpful and knowledgeable, which is great when your DIY skills are somewhat lacking , good range of stock and reasonably priced

Great place to pick up your bits and pieces for any DIY project wether indoor or out, staff very friendly and happy to help with any queries. Also Covid secure. Great new business be back soon.
