B&Q Chiswick

One of the great DIY company is B&Q. This brunch has plenty of car parking space and small cafe in the car park side. Product range is really massive and they to trimmer cutting service from 7:00am great deal with Christmas decoration and real three. When I visit Christmas mad three decorations almost gone. If you need to buy you may hurry 🎅🎄

Easy entry and wheelchair friendly. Lots of things there like plats, tools, everything for bathrooms and many many more things. You probably will find whatever you need for home and garden. Staff was very helpful and super friendly. No queue on checkouts. Will go back there and can only recommend.

1Systems don't work - I received a message that my item was ready for in-store collection which it wasn't, and staff openly admitted that their IT systems sent this message out the next day to customers regardless of whether items were ready to collect or not.
2Unprofessional attitude of the Staff / Treat customer like they're in the wrong - had the gall to argue with me that the issue I was encountering was not bad customer service because it was an "automated service". I begged to differ. Also, could not handle "being interrupted" and letting me speak, becoming increasingly rude
3Lack of communication within the store / seem to like wasting customer time - staff walked off when I was in conversation with them to go and work on the tills, leaving me in the lurch and unsure what was going on (I was led to believe he was looking for the my product on the shelves)
4Unable to refund for absent items - I asked for a refund, but they were unable to provide this saying they didn't have the product. Why should this matter when they've taken my cash? Again, it seems their IT systems are at fault
5Unwilling to help resolve issues - frequently directed to "customer services" which I assume is a contact centre where they can throw all issues over the fence to.

Extremely rude security guard, I did not know where lining paper was kept and was told it was upstairs, he followed me the entire time making out like he wasn't, followed me to the till, watched me pay for my items, and then proceeded to stop me and tell me to take off my coat as he thought I was stealing. Told him what I thought of him and his response was ' I finish at 8 come back then', I can happily say I will never be coming back to this store, appalling behavior.

Easily accessible from the dual carriage way and on foot. Good homewards, BBQ selection (we needed) garden selection. Easy to navigate and helpful staff. Key cutting machine is amazing 🤩.

Abysmal customer service!
I ordered a Christmas tree & baubles from their Chiswick store. The next day I get a notification that the tree is now cancelled, even though it says there are still 4 in stock. I called customer service and he said that the trees come from another store. Well then why am I ordering and seeig availablility from one store if they send it from another???

To add insult to injury, they are now charging me delivery fee for the baubles because the order falls under a certain amount (no fault of my own) and they can't even refund it as a gesture of good will! Apparently I will have to wait for the delivery to be completed then call AGAIN and try to get my money back! I told them to cancel my whole order as this is a joke.
Stick your tree, I am NEVER using you again!

Huge B&Q branch with 2 floors, with plenty of tidy household products and a big garden related area apart from all those commonly found items in B&Q.

I am giving 5🌟 for the person who went out of her way to help me. Carmel (Angel on earth) what a woman you are very kind positive person, knowledge of equipment and advise given by her I really appreciate! But most of all, it was our first time to visit the store and it was quite inaccessible with public transport specially with kids and I had my son with me. It was raining and dark she helped us how to get to the bus stop and she came out to show us in the rain and cold!! Thank you ever so so much Carmel you are B&Q gem!! You are a 🌟 God bless you more!! I owe you big time💕💕💕
