I was after a small piece for my Ikea dishwasher and these guys were very friendly and helpful. Spent ages helping me sort out what I was looking for and even spoke to my husband on the phone to get an idea of how the dishwasher functioned. I will definitely be coming back here when I need more hardware bits.

Amazing customer service - I needed some door hardware and they couldn't do enough to help me find a knob and letterbox that would fit - even letting me take something home to test on the door for potential fit.
Sure you can try and pick something on the internet - but honestly, this shop is a gem, and its worthwhile going in and talking to them. Their prices are also very reasonable - particularly if you factor in this kind of support.
I will definitely make a point of using them when I need hardware items.

I have been using Chiswick Hardware since 2004 and I always get excellent customer service and find what I’m looking for. Agata and Viktor the current staff are always very polite and helpful and the owner Verdi will always go out of his way to source anything you need if it’s not in stock. I’m a firm believer in ‘mend and make do’ and try to fix something before throwing it away. I also believe in supporting local independently run businesses. Chiswick Hardware is the only place that carries a wide range of screws,nuts and bolts, amongst other items, which you can’t get in the bigger DIY stores. They also stock a wide range of reasonably priced high quality door handles and fixtures and fittings for that special touch to your home. I would thoroughly recommend you try Chiswick Hardware store before going anywhere else.
