B&Q Worthing

I wasn't really confident in the price of the product I purchased. The shelves said one thing and the check-out person said another. When I pointed this out one of the B&Q team went to check and they again came back with a higher price than it said on the shelf. I then went over to the shelf with one of the B&Q team and magically the pricing and product positioning had changed to agree with the till. Not sure what went on, but not a good customer experience.

Now card only! Where trade people go for materials. Very short sighted. Also a warning, Trade UK who run the trade card for them and Screwfix are not struggling small business friendly. Not myself, but a friend has had a CCJ slapped on him for £1000 debt. No help or negotiation. It may be legally within their rights but I'm questioning whether to withdraw my business. Its tricky out there and any of us could find ourselves in trouble.

A nice store, easy to get in and park, never have any trouble. However on the day I visited I was after a specific product and brand and I couldn't get it.
The staff were helpful though and offered alternatives, but it wasn't something I was after.
My only criticism is that the aisles are quite narrow and if your pulling a trolley round, you can't fit 2 side by side in some of them and it feels quite cramped. Otherwise a great shop.

Went to exchange a steps ladder due to oversize, which was bought yesterday . In the customers service desk, two young persons assisted me with my transaction. I find them both were smile on their face, welcoming and courtaceus.
At the same time i went for a toll box. I was amazed to find a good selection of boxes at a fairly good price.

Not only were the staff helpful. The snack bar out side was so fresh worth going just for a sausage roll

Good access and parking. A wide range of DIY and building products; a few plants and garden items. Mid range in quality and pricing. A reliable place to go for a wide range of home projects.

Has a really good selection of colours of paint I got the one I wanted but they will make and mix the colour you want to match anything also got a couple of other decorations things I needed they do everything for all your d y s needs

If I ever need something I can't pick up locally, this is my go to place, friendly staff, good stocks, and the odd supprised bargain
