Care Clean

Amazing. We asked to have a table cloth cleaned. It was absolutely covered in candle wax spills. The word ruined sprang to mind when I looked at it, I didn't think it could be cleaned. Less than a week later and it's spotless, I can't believe it. Very reasonable price, Nick responded quickly to emails, and they collect items from various shops outside of Exeter, brilliant for us countryside folk! Fantastic service, we'll use Care Clean when we need something cleaned in future.

Excellent service and customer service. Got my custom suit in a bit of a state after a free bar wedding. After reading some articles online I started to think it might be impossible to find a dry cleaners who would take it in that state, let alone get it clean. Care Clean did just that, took it without fuss and cleaned it immaculately. No stains, no odors. I offered to pay extra for them to put additional time and effort into the suit, but they refused, remarking "that is the service that we promise anyway." Friendly and efficient, I will no longer use any other service in Exeter. The only recommendation for improved that I could possibly think of (if really pushed), is the use of plastic wrapping when collecting my suit. Not sure if they could find a biodegradable alternative, though I am sure that if my suit bag didn't smell so heavily of vomit I could have used that and left the bag.

I dropped in a suit and picked it up without incident a few days later. However, when I went to wear it the next day I discovered that the trousers were missing. When I called to report this I had to say 3 times what the make of my suit was as they were not listening the first 2 times and I was told that they would have checked the items with me before I left (they didn't).

I was then told that they probably fell off the hanger whilst I was carrying them home as that "often happens"...if that's the case then why not invest in some cheap clippers as other dry cleaners I have used have?

Will not be returning.

I was recommended by a friend who had recently had her wedding dress cleaned. I got married in vegas and my dress came back full of black tarmac from 46 degree heat. I was then coming back for the wedding reception. I honestly didn’t think anything could be done to get it back to how it was before. They did!!! They got all back to sparkling white and I was ecstatic! It’s look even more beautiful. Came back to have it cleaned a 2nd time (after my reception) and yet again was back to its stunning sparkling dress. I’ve now got it stored in their beautiful boxes, acid free and moth proof! I’m so happy and now have it forever. Would highly recommend.

Back in the day I bought a jacket at AEON festival, from a particularly wonderful charity stall. I have worn it, off and on, for many years. It has never looked and felt so new and wonderful as it does, since going to Care Clean, on Sidwell Street, in Exeter. #Cudos

Absolutely amazing service, I had a candle stain in my favourite stone island jacket and these guys managed to remove the stain.

Also liked the fact when I dropped off the jacket I received a text message with an order number, Price & Date of when it would be ready.
Then on the day it was ready they sent me another message to notify me it was ready for collection. ( 4 days earlier than planned)

Extremely helpful member of staff that calculated how much it would cost to dry clean some 2nd hand curtains that I bought, would not have been worth my while to get them dry cleaned. The member of staff gave me some very helpful advice.
Whilst they didn't end up doing my dry cleaning, the fact that they didn't try to push me to get them dry cleaned has put my trust in them and I will certainly be going there with any other dry cleaning needs I have. Thank you!
