There was a nice lady who helped me. I spent just about 30min there. I really wasn't expecting much from the embassy to be honest. We all know about the zim embassy's reputation. If you want to do a passport application bring:
1. Long birth certificate + copy
2. Zim id + copy
3. Passport + copy of the back
4. £65 cash or postal order
Dont waste time emailing or calling etc Noone will reply you😂 i was in there and laughed hearing phones ring.
Ohya. In case you dont manage to get copies done, make sure you've got 10p or 20p coins coz there's a printer in there that takes 10p for each copy. Copies can be in black or white. They don't really care as long as its visible.
One other thing. Before you leave home to go there, make sure the day isn't a zim holiday. They wont write anything on the website. I dont stay in London so I spent a lot of money coming to the embassy to see an A4 paper stuck on the door. Trust me. You don't want to deal with that.

I attached a picture with prices for some of the services you can get from the Zim Embassy.

It's far easier to get approved for a mortgage than to get your passport photos approved. The ladies who work at the reception are helpful but the whole process could be improved.

I was very impressed with the customer relations and helpfulness of the lady staff. If you have all your documents ready, they guide you through the process. If you dont, they tell you where to go for more photocopies or photos.
Things have changed for the better, no more arrogant, rude staff.

My visit to the Zim Embassy was great. Every staff member is so professional and friendly in conduct, its like you have met each other before. I even asked to see those i had talked to over the phone. I observed the staff politely guide everyone who had need and served with love and smiles. I had an opportunity to meet the Minister Counsellor(Deputy Ambasador) Mr Karodza and also His Excellency the Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Mr Katsande. In my casual deportment i received an executive welcome. Through you I love Zimbabwe more and more. Thank you Zim Embassy London

The ladies that were working today 30-08-2022 were so helpful,. I had all the wrong documents and had written of the travel as a waste of time but the encouraging service “run to snaps and get the right pictures you will have time” they made sure I done things right the right way,. At the end I had a smile on my face and she said see, now you have all ur things in order there was no need for the panic. That was lovely of them honestly. Thank you ladies

Just went there today and I cannot fault a thing! The staff were brilliant, and efficient. I experienced them helping others too explaining the documentation required very patiently and professionally etc. The website may be an issue but its safe to say if you want to renew your passport then take your Original ID plus a clear photocopy, original birth certificate plus a clear copy, old passport or crime reference number, photographs (Id shop on Northumberland Street take the best for just a tenner) plus your £65 in cash. It will make life easier for you and also for the staff. I previously had a bad experience there but today it felt like home. The new ambassador and his team are very service oriented and I think they deserve to be appreciated for doing a good job!
