Fortes Cafe & Ice Cream Parlour

Ice cream was delicious 😋 toilets not so good poo smeared on the toilet roll holder, i then took my son to the toilet in the disabled and there was tissue on the floor with poo on. Also toilets just need a major update hand dryers blow out the tiniest bit of hot air which couldn't dry an ant.

Would have been five stars but for reaching the front of the queue and ordering our drinks we were informed we'd have to repeat the process because we were unsure of exactly what we wished to eat. But once our food order was taken the service was swift. ( May we suggest the management make the menu more available before customers arrive at the counter). This is no way a reflection on the staff, who we found were very polite and professional.The food was tasty as well as being reasonably priced. Yet Covid-19 precautions were lacking with one member of staff just wiping around the menu (missing great swathes of the table next to us) when clearing the used crockery.(3/4/22)

Amazing food. Friendly staff. Wonderful atmosphere. Went there a lot as a kid, genuinely loved it. There deserts and ice creams were my favourite. Loved to go again haven’t been there for a while.

Lovely place to come to for a lite lunch/ meal, food is excellent and staff are friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and meeting place. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Our reserved table had been taken but another table was quickly sorted for us. We had been advised that food wasn't that great so we all went for ice cream and it was lovely. Very reasonably priced and a good place to meet up with friends and chat.

Had two meals and ice-cream. Excellent quality and quantity of food. Ice-cream sundaes are amazing. Really friendly staff. Hygiene is excellent too. Highly recommended.

First visit. Very pleasant place, quite crowded for off season which indicates how popular it is.
Food good - but the usual wait for coffe/drinks as other places playing with dials and levers on various machines!!! Would willingly go there again no hesitation.

Get In early or your favourite meals might be sold out. They have a wide range of desserts and ice creams..
Tea coffee and Cold drinks available.
Located close to the seafront and if your lucky enough to get a outside seat you can sit and watch the world go by.
