Boots may not be cool, but their eye tests are thorough and reliable. The service us warm and relaxed, and their designer frames selection is better than the other offerings in Berko.

My family and I have used this opticians several times over the last year for missing glasses, broken frames, new glasses for my daughter etc, and the manager Stephen has been exceptionally helpful and friendly; I've been very impressed with how quickly and knowledgeably he has dealt with everything.

I attended this practice for the first time a couple of weeks ago for a second opinion. The reason I did was that I had attended another Boots optician a few months earlier, but didn't feel entirely convinced about the advice I had been given. Honestly, I wondered if I was being sold a product I didn't need, due to the fact that what I was told was so different to advice I had always been given by my usual opticians.
Now, my prescription according to this optician, was not too dissimilar to the previous optician, so I have to admit that my initial concerns around the first optician was unfounded. What I did find though, was this optician made me feel completely comfortable. I wasn't made to feel in any way bad for questioning a fellow franchisee. I felt the optician was able to read my personality well because he was able to take part in a few playful jokes surrounding my age and my eyes etc, while remaining completely professional. The optician I saw a few months back recommended varifocals, and this optician agreed. He also reassured me that I may find it strange when I first put my glasses on, but if I couldn't get used to them within a month, I was entitled to return them
I collected my glasses today and I am so happy with them. I don't usually wear my glasses unless I have too, but they are so clear, that I really don't want to take them off

Just picked up my specs from here today. Excellent service there from a young lady and certainly typical of the rest of the staff. Appointment system in place to reduce numbers in the shop. Thoroughly recommended.

After having a ulcer on my eye, I was forced to wear glasses after permanently wearing contacts for 10+ years. I hated the idea of glasses, hated everything on me and hated trying to find something that looked good. The lovely lady with the black frames glasses was AMAZING and I actually found some glasses that I love wearing.
