The staff could not have been ruder. They gave me the wrong prescription for glasses. My old glasses were fine. I felt so awful in my appointment I nearly cried. Complained to head office especially about the manager and they didn't deal with it. Ignored! Manager stomped around the shop like a child. I now have useless glasses and wasted hundreds of pounds. Go to the Boots in Weybridge FAR superior service!!!!
Got a voicemail from them to tell my glasses arrived and to take appointment to pick them. Returned the call instantly, and no one to pick up the call (tried multiple times).
Check online opening and went to the Shop as it was showing closure at 17h30 online, and the chap on voicemail mentionned 16h30.
Will have to come back to collect them.
Not happy !
No luck, glasses are already paid ...I would have cancel.

I fully agree you let me a voicemail and tried to contact me. But no one picked up when I returned the calls. I decided to try without appoitment, which is my bad.
Thank you for you proposal to come back and reopen.A bit late to come back today for me, but I really appreciate the move.
Please to cut this kind of frustration, update your opening hours. I don't mind about opening hours, at the moment they are accurate (Boots site, google business, and even the sign on your door are still showing 17h30).
I'll update the review and ranking once over.

Problem and/or misunderstanding can happen.
All is about getting the tings sorted.
Thank you very much to the owner for his involvement in getting the things properly sorted.
Satisfy at the end ;)
Her eyes are important to her as her sight is failing and need glasses so she felt she had no alternative to have another pair. To cut a long story short. This branch had 2 attempts to get the lenses right but failed on both occasions and so the M-I-L had to seek help from another branch of boots which were very helpful indeed & gave her a little faith in boots opticians. When she brought this fiasco to my attention I contacted Boots HO who were very helpful & stated I had to discus it with the branch first.
My email to the branch has been dismissed as I expected and is now with Boots HO. We will see what they do & I will update this review. For your own sake avoid this branch.
UP DATE...................................................................
WELL I'm sorry to say that BOOTS (the company) is no better than the above and washes there hands of any problems you have with one of their FRANCHISE (Boots Opticians). So people, do not be scammed by thinking you are using a reputable company when you use a Boots Opticians. Just because it has "BOOTS" over the door means nothing and just playing on the name. Boots once was synonymous with quality & honesty, but I am afraid that is no longer true in our experience. You only have to look at other review sites like trustpilot to get a view of how bad Boots really are. Use an alternative opticians and your eyes will thank you for it and your bank balance.
