Superb eye test with a very knowledgeable and friendly optician. He was honest with me and made sure I was comfortable with all the information he gave me. Highly recommended optician.

Such a shame that the person who dealt with me at the end of my eye test lost interest in me when she knew I did not need any glasses. Plus I had a free eye test.

Recently went for an eye test and new glasses, having been recommended by friends. Really excellent service, so pleased with my TWO new pairs of glasses and my new prescription. I have no hesitation in recommending the Leamington branch, they were so helpful and reassuring throughout.

My children were examined, I ordered glasses for one child, and the other decided to do it in another store. When I made an order at Specsavers, we found out that Boots made a mistake and used a voucher for the eldest daughter of the youngest. After a few visits and calls, I was told to come to Boots to sign for a voucher change and was given a voucher number. But when I came to Specsavers, it turned out that it was invalid. I was so disappointed! I don’t understand why such negligence towards customers? When will my daughter be able to see normally with glasses?

I went in for an eye test and was given the wrong prescription. My new glasses were worse than the old. It was a bit of a faff, I had to go back in for them to check the glasses then again to get a second eye test with the more senior optician. Not ideal in the pandemic. This time they were very thorough. They replaced the lenses in the glasses free of charge with a different prescription but it took around two weeks. Overall they handled the mistake well but it's not acceptable to be so lax as to get it wrong in the first place.

Update: They managed to mess up my partners perscription even more dramatically a few weeks later. Same exact thing happened but with a different optician doing the test. There clearly isn't enough oversight or training of junior opticians. On the basis that this seems like a pattern rather than a one-off I can't justify more than 1 star.

Excellent service. A friendly and knowledgeable optician examined my eyes. I highly recomend Leamington Spa branch.
