Boots Opticians

Had a series of of poor experiences here. With hostile staff and three occasions of double bookings and failure to communicate this to me before my arrival. The final time I visited, I was not even offered a rescheduled appointment. Denied me a much needed eye test. Have not returned since.

Have not answered their telephone all day. Called numerous times throughout the day. Appalling. Tried to call via boots opticians main line to make an appointment for a contact lenses assessment without an eye test as I’ve had one within the last year but was told I need to speak to them directly to action this. They also tried connecting me twice but told me their phone was just ringing out. Very poor service from Boots Opticians Barnet.

I recommend the Opticians Sharon and Roma at Boots Opticians Barnet high street to everybody. Polite staff, excellent customer service and care, product knowledge, quality products and good money value.

An absolute rip off - I was quoted nearly £450.00 for two sets of glasses i went over the road to specsavers and got exactly the same glasses for £108.00 Avoid unless you like wasting money.

Extremely rude and unfriendly service from a particular male assistant. Even if I was late for my appointment which I take full responsibility for. Was there a need to be rude about it? Quite unpleasant

I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Boots Opticians in Barnet. I went for an eye test, they made me a new prescription. I selected my new frames and when I picked them up, there were problems with the new glasses. They are varifocals, and my vision was out of focus when i tried the new glasses on. Boots Opticians in Barnet sent them back to get them checked. When i picked them up for a second time, my vision was still out of focus and after 30 mins of wearing them, the left lens cracked. So they went back again. As the problem persisted and my vision didnt improve, I didnt want them anymore and wanted a refund. They said to me that they dont do refunds. I was shocked. I had my original eye test in April 2021 and today (28/6/21) I still dont have any new glasses or a refund. I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated by Boots Opticians in Barnet and will not be using them again.

Excellent service for my glasses and prescription sunglasses.

Good advice given around lenses and good choice of frames both designer and non designer to suit all budgets

Will use again for sure in the future
