As of yesterday I was a patient here after having joined the surgery in February of this year. I appreciate we have had lockdown but due to being classed as 'vulnerable', I have not even met or had any appointments with any of the gps other than 3 telephone consultations, one of these with a receptionist informing me I had a chest infection and the gp prescribed antibiotics and steroid tablets. Seeing that I have COPD, I was astounded at the total lack of safeguarding and care. I spoke to my allocated gp once and truthfully her 'uncaring and "can't be bothered attitude" resulted in me being taken to York Hospital by ambulance. A gp in Accident and Emergency was astounded that my gp had not even reviewed me since joining the surgery in February 2020 and we were now in August 2020 and has sent a letter requesting a review to take place take place together with a medication review. I worry for all the vulnerable patients attached to this surgery. I would never recommend this surgery to my worst enemy.

We have been with this practice since moving to Selby 3 yrs ago. My husband is very vulnerable and never have we been shown anything other than kindness and help by anyone at this practice from the reception staff right through to the many Doctors. I am my husbands sole carer and am always treated with respect and thoughtfulness, nothing is too much trouble. They deal with any problems very quickly. I would not choose anywhere else.

Reception staff are by far the best I have ever dealt with, although I was waiting a while claire made sure I could get an appointment that suited me and explained exactly how I can order prescriptions online. This was a huge relief as I am going on holiday shortly and had run low on my medication

Amazing service. I know how busy the staff here are which must be very stressful but the newest receptionist (Claire) took time to listen to me and actually address my problem. The Doctor (I wish I caught her name) was amazing too and I felt like she understood what I was feeling, she asked all the right questions. Thank you!

I attended promptly for my appointment but waited an hour, so spoke to reception who were not helpful and even called me by wrong name. I waited again and after waiting 1hr and 25mins I asked receptionist what was going on, only to be addressed by wrong name again and asked to wait. I explained I could not wait longer and receptionist viewed this as me been unreasonable. I hope they sort this out as in the week they called me and asked if the lump on my back had gone, wrong patient again, I had not contacted surgery regarding a lump!

Have had a few issues with repeat prescription over the last few months and although it was always sorted out I have to give a big thanks to Claire. Not only was the issue sorted but identified why and corrected this for future. Called me back within 15 mins of taking my call. Really great help and really friendly.

My partner, who has been to other physios, chiropractors etc went to this surgery today to try and get her back looked at. She has had this since she was 13. She wanted checking over so she could be sent for a scan to try and determine any issues as all other options have been exhausted. All she was told, was that she was human and humans are meant to feel pain and to put heat on it. What kind of people work here? I can not believe the level of incompetence.

I had problems with one leg 4 months ago, after a doctor from this GP consulted me, he told me that he would make an appointment for me at the hospital. This never happened. The wife has stomach problems, the doctors here never recommend the right pills. Either asking Google or going to GP Postergate is the same thing.
