Absolute rubbish...everytime you need to see a doctor they tell you next available slot is in few weeks time....

Doctors are ok, receptionists are extremely rude and unhelpful. Despite all these negative reviews, not sure why the NHS isn’t taking any action.

I have had many dealings with the pharmacy team for a long term condition in particular Vip Patel.
Who I have found over a long period has been super helpful and efficient.
Putting my mind at ease with my regular repeat prescription. So I am very grateful for all of his support and care.

This happened about 15 years ago but I feel I should write about this incident so that everyone knows how you could possibly be treated at this practice.

I wasn't at all a regular visitor to this practice, and at this particular appointment, the doctor I saw was Dr Masterton. This was the first (and the last) time I saw her.

At the end of my appointment, she told me that I would need another appointment, so I started to ask her about the booking availability. She then told me that she would not be able to make an appointment herself and I needed to do that at the reception. I then said to her that I did not know she couldn't do the booking herself (I found this a bit surprising, because when I saw a different doctor or nurse, they actually DID arrange an appointment for me themselves).
But this was when she suddenly lost her temper. She accused me that I was a "liar", and accused me that I must have known that she could not do appointments. I will never ever forget the way she flipped and shouted at me.

I did not understand what exactly was going on with her, but she really looked like a completely crazy person. I made sure that I kept some distance between her and me (because I could not predict how she would behave the next minute). I was absolutely shocked but I tried my best to keep a smile on my face and, even when I have done nothing wrong, I even said sorry hoping that she would not become violent, and I very quickly left her room.

I have no idea what made her lose her temper or what exactly made her think that I was a "liar". I was not horrible to her at all. Perhaps she was just having a really REALLY bad day, maybe she didn't like my ethnicity, or maybe she didn't like my appearance??

Opening times are a lie.

I turned up 40m before it was supposed to close but it was already closed so I couldn't finish the registering process

When my favourite doctor left, who cared about my health instead saving money for the surgery, it just went downhill. I have been incorrectly diagnosed so many times, patronised by the receptionist & doctors, sent prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, I can go on and on. It made me realised the importance of taking control of my health as these doctors don't care or just too tired to care.

The doctors are great but getting anyone to answer the phone in reception is a nightmare. Today I wasted 30 mins on the phone waiting to make a quick enquiry - just gave up in the end and drove to the surgery.
