Well I am sorry for those people who seem to have had problems with this surgery. I can only heap praise on them for all the kind help I have received. As a health professional myself who has become unwell I have found this practice to be excellent. They are courteous and obliging ,and have gone out of their way to help me even when they were very busy. I can only thank all the lovely staff and doctors for all their help and kindness. I would definitely recommend this surgery .

Terrible surgery, I move to The Grove surgery about 5 years ago and regretted it ever since. Not only do they have long wait times just to get through to the receptionist they never ever run on time. This week I had to attend the walk in clinic as I had flu symptoms I waited for 2 hours while very very unwell. The receptionist advised I’d wait 45 minutes but to sit there for 2 hours when that unwell is totally unreasonable. It actually made me have a turn for the worst. Then I got even worse 2 days later with terrible chest pains they wanted me to wait at the walk in clinic again. Unbelievable, awful surgery I’m leaving my advise would be to stay clear of this place! Iv always had long waits even with my 2 young children just unreasonable and they don’t care about helping you.

This practise refused to Give My Stepmother a prescription for Her emergency steroids and She has spent the last 3 days in hospital as a result. This isn't the first time they have done this either

I know The Grove Surgery has had a few teething problems even before covid but my more recent experience has been so much better.I have a few medical issues going on at the moment and I have received telephone appointments to help with my issue each time. Both Dr Harrison and a lovely parademic dealt with my issue in a caring manner. The reception staff have also been pleasant and efficient in my experience( not easy when they must be bombarded with disgruntled patients)

Very disappointed in the service provided for their patients. As part of my job I am required to prove certain childhood vaccinations. I requested this from the surgery over a month ago. I received a telephone call this morning to say that their head nurse says it would be too much work and they won't check my medical records for me. I understand that practices are short-staffed but if every GP practice has the same attitude as they do then they would never be able to fill another vacancy ever again.

I receive a message to call the surgery so call straight away, I am greeted with a ‘the surgery is closed’ message.
2pm on a Wednesday, website saying closed at 6pm.
Who is sending messages when closed to say call surgery, this may worry some patients. Not happy at all

My 1st time visiting today after a nightmare at my previous surgery. What a refreshing experience I have just had! Extremely professional, but at the same time very chilled. Thank you.

Well use to be a great surgery then they moved to Christchurch hospital, you now can't get though on the phone, and have to send a message and sometimes the receptionist may read it.
You can't get a face to face appointment with Doctor even when you have had a telephone appointment .
I am not sure what is going on at this Surgery when they don't put their patients first.
