The telephone call from the receptionist was very polite and inviting.
The treatment i received from my flu jab was also professional.
Assessment of questions carried out before hand and explanation of what to expect after.
Very happy patient
Keep it up everyone!
This is the worst gp practice I've ever experienced, to the point they seem to reply to Google reviews more urgently than phone calls or emails. I suspect the public nature has something to do with it buy maybe I'm cynical...
You ring, you can't get through or even get an appointment, you leave a complaint on the NHS website and in a hilarious turn of events they ring you without warning and if you don't pick up, they leave a message saying to ring back...I'm not sure if this isn't clear, your phone system does not work and funnily enough I'm not staying on hold for hour to discuss my complaint - provide a direct number should you wish to actually hear back from a patient with quite serious concerns about your conduct and level of care. Oh no you don't, otherwise you would have resolved the issues everyone seems to be feeding back to you.
Out of interest, how do other GP surgerys manage book appointments when busy? I believe most manage this, have you considered asking how they achieved this phenomenon seemingly beyond you?
And email, don't suggest this because you don't reply.
I'm just keen to understand how I can book an appointment, not using your app, have a follow up I've need for more than a year but can't get throufh to book, and also book a smear test. I believe women get these reminders to avoid missing a cancer diagnosis. Would be great for thier GP to help with such an appointment, Jade Goody taught us missing appointments can be fatal.
All of of my requirements are simple care needs, none of which you can actually help with because your phone system is not fit for purpose. Stop accepting new patients when your painfully failing your current ones.
- You have to book appointments by phone
- You can't book appointments by phone
- You can book by phone but only for same day appointments (despite me booking in advance the previous week)
- You have to book before 7am
- You can book anytime
- You have to use the app to book
- You can't use the app to book
It took me 6 days to get my phone appointment for a simple repeat prescription (I had to book a days annual leave to be available for the call), but when I went to the pharmacy the doctor had prescribed the wrong dosage. When I phoned to get it sorted out I was back in the loop of you can / can't book by phone with / without arbitrary conditions. I'm considering coming off my medication because I'm going to loose my mind dealing with this kind of service.
