I don't understand all these 1 star reviews: it is a GP practice people. Sometimes you will have to wait, and sometimes you might find a doctor being condescending, the same as everywhere else. And yes, sometimes doctors don't listen, but once again, the same as everywhere else. If you aren't happy with a doctor you can always ask to see somebody else.
Some doctors are fine, all nurses are friendly, and the place is clean and spacious, what else do you want?

I have always found the doctors and support staff to be extremely professional, caring and kind. Please remember that they are operating in some of the most trying conditions we have ever experienced, and whatever your frustrations are, I am sure they share them. I do experience problems in getting appointments but it isn't the fault of the people who work there. I once called them and was 16th in a queue, and honestly I felt only sympathy for the reception team who must be working thanklessly and tirelessly to look after as many of their patients as possible, picking up call after call, and probably not getting the breaks they are entitled to, and despite the lack of gratitude that is clear from some of the posts I have read. Please try to have some kindness for them.

I have a really nice doctor, I recommend Dr Anna Alexander, and believe that the reception team are lovely. I understand that the practise has 6 doctors to cover 10,000 patients and therefore it is clear that they face pressures quite often. I may be number 23 in the que when I call at 8:30, but I am spoken to with respect.
Studying for a research degree myself, I can relate to the doctors and think they are doing a good job.

Doesn’t even deserve one star but I can’t put 0. Was told I had an appointment for today (25th November) when I arrived I was told it was last week. The receptionist I spoke to when I made the appointment specifically said 25th November and I wrote it down on the piece of paper at the time which I still have and on my calendar on my phone. I then was told I couldn’t get an appointment and had to call up at 8.30 on Monday. I had taken the morning off of work for this appointment which was a waste. They complain that people miss their appointments when they don’t even give out the right date for them and don’t even apologise for it, receptionist just sat there and was quite rude. When I said I was told it was the 25th she didn’t even answer me. The receptionists are useless and always mucking things up. Don’t even send out text reminders anymore for appointments, if they did it would have resolved their mess up as I would have got a message to say it was the 18th. Poor service as always from the receptionists here, luckily it wasn’t too much of an issue for me to have to wait a few days but it might be a different matter for somebody else. This needs to be resolved as the service is so poor. Really gone down here at this surgery. I have been a patient here all my life and it’s getting worse and worse from the receptionist. Doctors however are amazing, the receptionists let it down.

I’ve been with the practice for my whole 52 years
The practice is amazing , Dr Alexander myst be so totally dedicated as I’m sure he is long overdue retirement. Extremely sad to see Dr Brightwell retire . My mother is 82 and moved last year and her only worry was not getting a good doctor . Dr Brightwell went beyond to look after my mother who came here from Portugal years ago .
I’ve never had any problems , obviously
it’s not easy to get appointments but if not I’ve always got a call back
Only Friday I rang as I’m suffering with sciatica , rang at 8,50 , got through after about 15 mins and doctor called me back at 10.30 , prescription at chemist by lunchtime
Just amazing and from reception to the GPS , 1st class

I was here this week to see a doctor who was very efficient and done the job. Been at this surgery all my life, no complaints.

Lovely practice nurses really put you at ease Reception staff always try their best, people need to realise they can't work miracle they are always polite, friendly, helpful and do their very best to help everyone they all deserves a gold medal bless them all

I have been with this surgery over 30 years. I’ve seen a lot of change to which I think they adjust well. I have always found them helpful, knowledgable and hard working. I’m very grateful for how they helped me through my pregnancy and feel very lucky to get to stay with them all these years. If I make an appointment in the morning I get a call back by afternoon. The receptionist are quick and efficient, I can only imagine how stressful that job can be making sure all patients are accommodated to. Thank you to all.
