Brayford Medical Practice

We are a family of 4 and my children have been going to Brayford Medical Practice from birth. Reception staff have always been very friendly, polite and personable, they remember all of our names which is a lovely touch.

Prescription service is incredibly easy to use and we have always had our medicine ready at our local pharmacist the next day.

I have always recommended Brayford Medical Practice to others as I have never had anything but positive experiences. I feel my children are in the best hands and that to me is worth its weight in gold.

Shocking service at this practice. The new receptionists are so rude and should be retrained or fired. It's quite clear they can't be bothered and do not care one bit about helping patients. The new receptionists' answer is always "we can't do anything about it" not to mention the practice took my bloods and did absolutely nothing with it as to this day, im still waiting for this scan.They have the attitude of if THEY can't see anything wrong then there is nothing wrong. Also a big shout out to the older lady with short brown hair at the desk, she has always been helpful and always had a friendly attitude. The other receptionists need to take the whole damn book and not just a page.

Useless practice! Parking is shocking, have to pay to park in Lucy tower most of the time. When I was pregnant I was asked if I wanted my baby to be automatically registered at the surgery which I said yes. Called twice between the time span of my baby being 4-7 weeks old to ask about booking in her 6/8 week immunisations to which I was told twice they will call me to book and I don’t need to worry. Called a third time when she was 8 weeks as I hadn’t heard anything to which they said they had made an error and hadn’t registered her and will do urgently, then send an appointment through for when she is almost 11 weeks old!! Appalling, we’re moving surgery immediately, don’t waste your time registering at this practice!

absolutely Rabbish service surgery , Honestly its a joke i am not blaming docters .But the all receptionist staff is useless totally waste of time & money , i requested my medical record 3 weeks ago i told them i needed very urgentyl please send my medicl rercord as soon as possibal , almost every day i range them to remind them to send my medical record. Every time diffrent excuses , This surgery need very serciously montring , i belive they are not working there only chilling there . I realy dont know whos is the incharge of this surgery otherwise i will contact directly.

I can't really tell how practice take care of patients because I could never get an appointment. Call at 8:00, wait on the line for ages, and someone hangs up. That's the service I could get so far.

Diabolical service. Why are taxpayers paying for such rubbish?

I have used the practice for a number of years and most recently frequently for ongoing medical reason and cannot fault the service. The reception team have always been polite and helpful, and I believe the E consult form is really helpful with some of the ailments and help we've needed as a family for professional use. Some things have been dealt with via text to collect a prescription, a phone call consultation or most recently arranging face to face contact where I have personally been reassured that my medical issues are being dealt with and assisted with in the correct manner. From all the team we have dealt with from reception to doctors have been great and I will always recommend the practice to anyone looking for a new practice or to move. Thankyou for your continued hard work

Great service today. We arrived late but were still seen, and promptly. The nurse practitioner was fabulous with my five year old, very competent and reassuring.
