I'm shocked just how bad this surgery is. It is impossible to get an appointment with a GP either telephone or face to face and that's if reception answer the phone. All I get told is to call NHS 111 or call an ambulance. They have no care for patient welfare at all, they just want to get rid of you ready to fob the next person off.
DISGRACEFUL. I actually doubt whether there are any doctors there at all.

The staff behind the desk are lovely (if you can get through) however the Dr's simply don't care, getting a prescription for an injury caused in the military is like banging your head every month and often state a review is needed which can be 1 to 2 weeks away and they don't prescribe anything else in the meantime, only today had a review at 9 in the morning (didnt ring till 10) and still waiting only to be told at 1750 all the gps have gone home even though they are advertised as open till 1830 leaving me yet another day for medication I am prescribed by a GP. My wife has had to request medical documentation for a new job costing alot of money which still hasnt been done 2 weeks later, but they taken the money quick enough and is now being rang daily by her new potential employer trying to have the documentation up which is not a good start and does not look good. I have two small children and only last month it taken 2 full days of ringing at 0750 in the morning for a chance to get through as my smallest needed to be seen by a gp and after two days was told two weeks wait and in that time had to take him to A and E.
In short this practice has lazy GP's and have taken way too many patients on. Do not apply to this DR's surgery ( if you can call it that) and now they will lose four more. Disgrace.

Day three: still no medication as they sent it to a Pharmacy in London so only 400 miles from me and as they taken over an hour and half they have no DRs to rectify it as they had all gone home 30 mins early.

Terrible reception staff when you can occasionally get through, very bad attitude on the phone or in person and not helpful in any way,I get anxiety at the thought of having to ring them because everytime I do there is a problem, each time I ring I get told someone will get to the bottom of it and call me back and yet nothing is followed up and no one calls back so I have to go through it all again.

this place has one qualified GP(who oversees everything), a couple of medical students/trainee GPs and loads of nurses. I collapsed a couple of times last year and was unable to work due to feeling bad on my feet, they didn't believe me and refused to push the specialist and eventually issue sicknotes despite driving 60 miles a day (the overseeing GP never saw me).I changed practices and saw a proper Doctor and it now looks like I have Parkinson's disease, I would give no stars if I could ,

Absolutely terrible. I'm pulling out from this GP. Never been able to get an appointment, intfact rarely able to get through on the phone, generally rude on the phone. And refuse to even see a sick child (under a year old). What is the purpose of this place?

Would give 0 if I could. Terrible treatment, not bothered about patients most of the doctors see you and fob you off, you fight for a face to face appointment just to get an outcome you could of rang reception for in the first place without an appointment. Waste of time won't be at the surgery much longer it's gone down hill big time and it wasn't even that good to begin with. There is a few amazing doctors in there but few and far between, this place has nothing but bad press and its not hard to see why.

Shame I can't give zero stars. Absolutely appalling service. Making an appointment is a physical impossibility. If you call, you are on hold for over an hour and are then told there are no appointments left and to call back the next day. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
There is no option on Patient Access to book any kind of appointment with a GP - however they do offer 7 kinds of Covid tests.

Unbelievable! I have just been on hold for 36 minutes. When I called I was number 2 in the waiting list. After patiently waiting, everything has disconnected and on calling back a prerecorded message has cheerfully informed me the surgery is now closed. I absolutely cannot believe it has taken 36 minutes to answer the caller previous to me. Simply not good enough.
