Some good Doctors here. Long waiting times but it seems that way with most places now.

We've had ups and downs, but mostly up! If they offer you a telephone appointment take it, they are very effective. If you need a same day appointment, pop-in and book rather than phone, I spent 45 minutes trying to call for an appointment (calling immediately again after hearing the busy tone) and by then all the appointments had gone, however, they did book me in for a telephone call and that was all I needed. They do get the job done :-)

They are very busy. Last time I went I had to wait nearly 2 weeks for a (admittedly non-urgent) appointment, and then I was seen 45 mins late. So, don't consider going unless you are really really ill!

My family just moved into the area. I phone and ask if we were in their catchment area, I give my address. They confirm my address and say "Yes".

Within the hour, I go in to complete a registration form and take more away for the rest of my family. As I recently called in, I asked the receptionist if it was them I spoke to, she doesn't think it was but she's not the only one on the phones. We strike up a conversation about the new house, and the area of my new address, she takes my proof of my address, makes a copy, and scans my form to check its filled in correctly before taking it away with a thankyou.

A week later I get my form returned with a cover letter saying my address is out of their area to register, despite at least one person - but probably two different people - checking my address at the time. No doubt the other forms the rest of my family sent later will get returned too.

2 stars for the friendly customer service, but loses 3 for confidently giving me the wrong information. There are 4 people in this household that require prescriptions, which will now be delayed because of a simple, but important, error.

Telephone system is a shambles utter shambolic... Doctors /Fit notes seem to be a problem as well.. i visited twice on the same day. Both times the surgery was empty. No one waiting to see the doctors. Yet they can not get anyone to do a note. What the F##@ are they doing. Receptionist mr know it all.. Waffling on with various excuses... awful service. Completely useless...

Have been a patient here for over 4 years now and I have to thank all the staff members for everything , especially Dr Ratchford for all the help, kindness, professionalism and efficiency. Yes, sometimes reception is busy and have to wait a bit but it is understandable as there are lots of pt. Everyone talks nicely and very helpful

Have been with Cadwgan Surgery for 40 years and am only changing surgery as I am now out of their area. There are always going to be minor hiccups, but the whole team have been great over the years. Thank you.

Doctor Ratchford is just the best..... She's saved me...... I can never thank her enough xx
