Prices may have crept up recently but I still love Tatty D's crazy, colourful laser-cut jewellery (which does, in all fairness, last forever too - I'm still wearing pieces I bought back in '05 & '06). This shop also has an ever-changing roster of collaborations, from art exhibitions to Linda Farrow sunglasses, zines, and one-off pieces by other designers.

I'm a huge fan of Tatty Devine and their unique collections. The store on Brick Lane is adorable and a great place to find the perfect gift, a treat for yourself or even just some inspiration. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. Though their prices are higher than high street shops selling similar jewellery, nothing beats an authentic piece of Tatty Devine and all the compliments you'll receive from wearing it.

Need a perspex dinosaur necklace? (Well, who doesn't!) This is THE place to come to. It's also a must-visit for anyone who likes gorgeous, quirky statement pieces that you'll own for years to come. I have 5 necklaces from Tatty Devine – my favourites being a heart-shaped lolly that is the perfect summer accessory, and a Cinderella carriage that's rather festive party appropriate!

You have to walk all the way along Brick Lane to find this little gem...no...walk a little further...There you go. It took me a little second to make sure I was there! All the way along from the Curry end and it feels like the shops are tailing off a bit. But there it is, a little treasure trove of personalised perspex and quirky finds. You can have your 'Carrie' moment by ordering a name necklace in a selection of fonts, colours, glittery colours with a charm on the end for extra bling. It's a really fun place and the staff are nice too. They also do a jewellery repair service if you've been a little on the rough side with your pieces and need a chain fixed etc. A very helpful thing to know so you don't just chuck it out!

Tatty Devine's East London branch is a little more hidden than its' central London counterpart. It's a smaller, equally colourful, shop that stands out in a grey little street. It stocks the same jolly necklaces as in the larger store, and brings the same temptation to buy everything.

Tatty Devine is my favourite jewellery brand, and this is my favourite of their shops.

Located at the top end of Brick Lane, it's a cosy little place that nevertheless manages to cram in most of the collections they're selling at the time, as well as unusual zines.

The staff are beyond lovely. I have a pineapple necklace from Tatty that I love, and I was heart broken when a small piece came off. I went in to see if they had any old ones in stock I could buy, and was told that they could send the necklace of to the studion, remake the broken part, and send it back. All for £6. Great service.

The sample sales are pretty epic, and a good way to find a bargain. Be prepared to stand in line for a while though, and you might have to put your elbows to good use!

* Overall a very disappointing shopping experience *

Having become aware of the recent collaboration by Tatty Devine with the Fawcett Society we placed an order for some jewellery of an amount well above £100 (the minimum for free delivery). We then within minutes discovered a further item that we really liked. As the first order had been placed late at night we called Tatty Devine first thing the next morning, when the customer service team opened to see whether we could add this item to our original order. Unfortunately, our request was met with a very disappointing lack of flexibility. Neither could we add the additional item, nor did Tatty Devine offer us free delivery on the second order (even though the value of the two orders exceeded by now £200, so twice the minimum amount for free delivery). Whilst we have been told that this decision was in line with Tatty Devine's policy, we are nevertheless surprised by and very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and decent customer service.

I have got name necklaces for the Fun House twins when I get the chance to meet them and give it out!

I have done 2 big Ladybug fonts with the gold chain, red for Melanie and yellow for Martina. I really can't wait to meet Pat Sharp!
