McDonald's

The food was inedible! They only got the one star because they were quick. At the condiment table, one ketchup dispenser was empty and the other was broken. They did however provide sauce at the counter. I had to wipe off a dirty table in order to sit, while my partner collected our food. I ordered a bacon mayo sandwich. The first bite was flavourless so I opened it to add salt. That's when I discovered two pieces of nearly raw bacon. It was pink with cold white fat. My fries were also cold and flaccid. My partner ordered a double quarter pounder with no cheese. He received two patties in a dry bun with no condiments. He also ordered a coke with no ice and received a diet coke with ice. We ordered apple pies and with the first bite you could detect the waft of slightly rancid oil.
A terrible experience, choose ANY other vendor at those services.

Used kiosk too order, no milkshake, ice cream or blended ice available. Table service turned off, when we got our food no napkins or straws. Diet Coke was flat with no ice and our fries weren’t salted and tasted like fish. Would not recommend this place

You know what you are getting with McDonalds. The food was as expected as always, and always yummy ! When visiting different McDonalds the only real thing you can compare is the staff and the cleanliness, both of which were good here. When on a long journey stopping at a service station its always good to see a friendly face.

The changes McDonald's has made is now a 2 tier experience.
If you go for face to face service. It takes an age to even get the attention of someone who is willing to take an order. The plus side. You get to add or remove extras, which lifts the burgers to another level in my opinion.
OR You use the touch screens, with the added bonus of fingerprints, smears, grease and food. The touch screens then don't allow you to customise the same burgers. Frustration.
At lease the food come out hotter.

Service was a bit slow, but was on a day even Wales was playing rugby, so nay have been exceptionally busy.

Took our order to the car to eat, put drinks in the car cup holder, started to eat....put my hand around my cup of coffee to lift it and the lid popped spilling red hot black coffee lava all over the car. Cleaned it up, sorted cup out ensured lid was on correctly and lifted cup from drinks holder to try again. This time lid popped and went all over me, scalding my lower right leg. I gave the coffee to my husband had to exit the car to get my burning hot clothes off my leg in the car park. My husband then replaced the lid, put the coffee in the holder and poured water down my leg, eventually he went to pick up the coffee for a third time the lid popped off on him, spilling on him.

I ended up in a pharmacy when we reached our destination. I had to purchase scald creams and dressings. I ended up in A&E the next day with blisters which had to be popped and cut away. More than a week later I am in a lot of pain and still having the blisters dressed.

Rarely do we undulge in a Mac.... So the taste was so much better as a treat. On screen ordering system easy (for an old git like me)..... Yummy

Just as a person said below, the food is horrible. It tastes like plastic and it comes out cold. Been multiple times to this McDonald’s thinking every time would be different - it’s really not, every time it’s been bad. Last time they forgot to put the beef into the burger and when telling them, they had to ask the manager to come in and inspect it, as if we were gonna take the beef out ourselves and eat it by itself or something. They don’t give out any napkins with your order and the service is slow. Do yourself a favour and don’t eat here, it’s the worst McDonalds I’ve had in the UK

Service was pretty quick, and the food was nice and hot, still a way longer wait than they used to be before switching to the new order style. Took about 9-10 mins for 2 cheese burgers and 2 coffees.
