The Captains Fish & Chips Hoddesdon

Best fish and chips I've had for a very, very long time. Took the owner's reccomendation on what to have and it was fantastic. One haddock, one cod, one salt and pepper squid. Never knew this place existed but saw it in the Hertfordshire news having won an award for being the best so took my mum today as we weren't too far away and what a great meal. Will definitely come back.

This fish and chip shop is by far the best I have ever eaten in. The food is cooked to perfection every time. You have plenty of choices and the staff are very pleasant. A big thumbs up 👍

We have had multiple take outs from here. It’s always great quality and at a reasonable price. They say they came second place in the national awards but for me they are number 1.

This has to be the best place in the area for fish and chips for flavour and quality food. The servings aren't overly generous and it's not the cheapest but if you want to pay for proper decent fish and chips then you won't beat these guys.

Once again great lunch time meal fish and chips 1st class as always.
Filled up now, no cooking or washing up to do ready to watch football highlights.

Poor customer service i received was dam right rude. Been numerous times before and food has been okay against the price,but tonight was sub standard.will just have to find another .
