Marino Fish Bar

Love this fish and chip shop! Probably my favourite one. Staff always friendly but the main stand out here is the fresh fish and the choice of fish available. All bought daily and none are frozen. You can really taste the difference, its the reason actually why I usually don't buy the standard cod as I'm more than happy to wait for one that's freshly fried on the spot. Highly recommend!

Our only fish n chippy! Great service, excellent food and good price! Even better u can phone thro and pick it up 15/20 mins later! Perfect!

I like their haddock n'chips, been coming here for 18 months, it's perfect. Good idea to phone in your order, the queues outside are sometimes long. It's that good

Horrible nuggets and chips nuggets over cooked and hard chips were cooked twice cooked once then put back in fryer and cooked again they were horrible i chucked most of meal away i will never return here again i woukd sooner starve than eat from here again

Fish was by very good but they gave us mostly the end bits of the chips. Nearly half the portion of chips was the old bits in old oil as you can see in photos. We had to leave it because it was too oily and crispy.

I'm new to the area and decided to try this place out despite the bad reviews. I am very glad I tried it out as its one of the nicest fish and chips I've had. Portion size was perfect, the fish and sausage tasted lovely and the chips were fluffy with a slight crunch. All tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend! I will definitely be going back there!

Ordered Small cod and chips and battered sausage. Got very very small cod for £7. Battered sausage that had no batter on it. And the smallest bag of chips that i thought tasted terrible. Will never go here again. Went here about 5 years ago and thought id try it again. I WISH I HADNT.
