Chaucer Fish Bar

Great as always, although it was very busy, I didn't have to wait too long. My only criticism would be due to covid we had to wait outside however there wasn't any organisation and you didn't know who was in the queue or waiting. But didn't matter too much. Large cod was huge 👌🏻

Consistently good fish and chips, and they also deliver. However, I had given them five stars, but dropped one because they just surcharged me for using a card on a small order (didn't think you were allowed to do that anymore).

Extremely busy when I visited , the queuing system worked very well and well thought out . Food was piping hot and fresh . Haddock was a good size , as was the 2 different sizes of cod . . Would visit again when in the area

On a trip to Sittingbourne dropped into this fish bar. Thy were the most awful fish and chips i have ever had. The batter not cooked properly and the chips must have been left overs from another era. Will never go there again and neither will my family now after telling me it was the best they now say after tonight's rubbish never again

Heard good revewis about this fish and chip shop so decided to have dinner from there and was very disappointed. Chips were cold and like rubber. Fish wasn't that bad. Savaloys were half cooked and soggy and the battered sausage was mushy and unedable.

Great fish and chips take away. Usual choices plus kebabs, fried chicken and others. Polite staff and good prices too.

Usually good food here.. sometimes gets really busy and food can be a bit touch and go at these times
