Cuckfish

Really disappointing. Went there especially because they do Gluten free on a Monday. The chips were nice, but the fish, Huss, was overcooked and inedible. Had we lived nearer, I would have taken it back.

Just had a large cod and chips freshly cooked and absolutely delicious, batter not too thick and very crisp, will definitely be back very soon.

Wow! We just finished a really delicious dinner of fish and chips and a veggie burger. It was the best fried fish I think I’ve ever had! Cooked to order, the fish was moist and tender, the batter fried to a perfect crisp. The veggie burger was excellent as well and the portions of both meals were very generous. All the staff we talked with were very helpful and pleasant. This is a fabulous restaurant for a take-out meal.

Lovely fish and chips, fish cakes and battered sausages!!! Very large portions too!

We stopped off on the way back home. Very friendly and good food. Parking can be an issue although there is a car park to the rear that is free after 6pm.

Uncooked fish ,soft batter and so so greasy . By the time I got home all the grease had soaked though the box and onto my car mat . Tasteless and over priced owner also rude . Won't be returning

Cannot fault this place for quality or service. The food is all fresh cooked to order and they always deliver some of the best fish and chips. Everything is crispy and light. Nothing ever seems greasy or stodgey. Flakey, crumbly fish, light fluffy chips... It's always, consistently delicious and satisfying. The service is very friendly, welcoming and it's obvious they care about what they're doing. You can expect high standards from this place.
