Excellent fish and chips and friendly helpful staff

Nice fish & chip shop, friendly staff and clean inside. Good deals available such as jumbo sausage, chips, side and drink for a fiver. You can also order online and get your order delivered for £3. Food we ordered was hot fresh and tasty!

The restaurant is spotless and the staff polite and helpful. Plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs.
We had the small haddock chips and peas, with bread and butter and a drink of your choice, £6 each and delicious and very filling, there's plenty to choose for dessert but didn't have one.

Disappointed to be honest. Chips not very crispy, the batter was soggy in places and I asked for peas but when I got home realised they had given me curry sauce. The gravy was nice though!!

Plentiful, well prepared and delicious. The staff are ace, funny and humorous. But Lord they work hard! If they aren’t serving, they’re cleaning.

One of the best fish, chips and peas I've had in a long time, despite it being busy the service was quick did not have to wait long to be served will definitely call again.

fantastic plaice and haddock specials. The cod let it down being overcooked to the point of being inedible. Busy restaurant meant a very long service time of over an hour.

Visited with family, and 2 small children in between Christmas and New Year. Arrived at 6:30pm, and seated in the main restaurant. As expected with small children, ordering a meal wasn't a quick process. But Katie was very understanding, polite and efficient when taking the complicated order (drinks) etc. The food was excellent, chips freshly cooked and the battered fish superb. The children wanted ice cream ( what a surprise) and although we were getting near closing time, we didn't we experience any issues. We are local and have eaten there many times before, the business was an excellent treat during lock down. Thoroughly recommended, we will be back...again, and again.
