Good fast service, we simply had 2 pieces of cod and a large chips. My husband should have asked for it to be wrapped as 1 x fish and chips and a second portion as both pieces of fish came wrapped together. Both fish and chips were piping hot and delicious. Never enough salt for me but we'd decided to sit and eat in the car as opposed to dining in.
I wouldn't hesitate to go again or recommend.

Battered fish was dripping in oil and batter was soft and not crispy like it should be. Chips were ok. One person serving and kept forgetting things, all in all not the best place to eat.

Service was not as good as it usually is. The man serving us seemed reluctant to take our order. The portion size of the "large chips" is much smaller than it used to be. The older gentleman kept licking his fingers to handle the paper when wrapping our food - quite disappointing after we have just come out of a pandemic! Lack of care for hygiene was my main concern. Perhaps a small dish of water beside the paper would be helpful instead of licking his fingers with his own saliva.

Haven't eaten in here for a long time. Had a refurbishment since I have. Nicely done out. Hard to find a menu but staff really helpful. Fool as always lovely, large portion nice chips. Enjoyed left full.

Good size Cod £6.95 and Chips £2.50. Tasty, good batter and good chips. Front slide back doors wide open so a bit cold inside was not so welcome.

The man who served me told me a regular portion of chips was enough for two people and he was right but I was on my own. I don't like being pressured to buy more than I need and it's disrespectful to customers.
I've been there a few times and the service has never been very good. Tonight I stated 3 times that I wanted my chips open and I got them wrapped. Could they care any less?

Great takeaway, cooked fresh and tasted lovely. Would recommend, however eating inside was not a good experience. The tables were dirty and cluttered, staff need to be more proactive in cleaning them as people leave. I can recommend the food but I cannot recommend eating inside.
