I have been a member at Pure gym for a good few months now and every visit is a great experience.
The facilities are excellent and will more than satisfy a keep fit fanatics needs.
Even though I have never actually had any dealings with the instructors they are very friendly and helpful when asked for advice or help.
The ladies in reception are always very welcoming with a smile on their face when you arrive, and when you leave.
The gym itself isn't huge, but you can always grab a piece of equipment whilst waiting for another.
The swimming pool is wonderful, and with an awesome jacuzzi for afterwards (plus a steam room and sauna!) you can chill and relax.

Not great, particularly given the cost. The gym is small, even with the new strength room, the equipment is old and the whole place is rarely cleaned. The roof leaks, the AC consistently fails during summer, and it's missing key equipment for most people (no leg press, no hack squat, only one duel cable machine). Taking into account the fact you also need to pay for parking, there are much better gyms available at half the cost, with free parking. To be fair, the staff are all really friendly, but what's frustrating is that the trainers seem to take a lot of time making small talk with their students whilst taking up machines.

I was a member of this gym for five weeks, while I had a temporary work contract nearby. It's not the best gym in the world, but not the worst either. It includes a gym/exercise machine area, weights room, class studio, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

The gym area itself is cramped, but has a good variety of machines. There's a mix of classes, but the communication over them is poor: The timetable online is out of date, and there seems to be no reliable structure for classes being covered in an instructor's absence, or for notifying students of cancelled classes, not even a post-it on the studio door.

The building itself is aged, the sauna walls are rotting, floorboards in the studio give noticeably, and it usually takes a couple of attempts to find a working locker. I am suspicious of what the dim lighting in the pool area hides, but have actually found the facilities to generally be clean.

The free personal training sessions are hard to book, being limited in time slots, and being so high in demand they can only be booked a week in advance. The price of membership is reasonable, and the staff are friendly.

The gym suited my needs, and I'll be returning should I find myself working in Leamington again, but, really, I expect better.

I was a member a couple of years ago and left due to medical reasons, since rejoining I have seen big improvement with the place, receptionists are friendly and welcoming. It's very clean, the gym has improved a few machines and equipment could be fixed or replaced but the new treadmills are fantastic which Lana taught me how to use on her break, took her time out as I was really eager and wouldn't wait for an induction. I had an induction with matt and he shown me everything I needed to know, I highly recommend anyone to book their inductions with him. It was hard to get back into but the positive vibes is motivational.

Totally sick of paying A* rate for terrible and grimy environment. Went in yesterday after just paying £52 for the month and 5 out of 8 treadmills were out of order, the locker door came off in my hand and the treadmill I did get was barely working (dodgy screen).

As mentioned, the ceiling leaks often which is often disconcerting when laying on the mats and getting a lovely drip from the ceiling in your face. Most machines need some serious TLC. The one redemption could be the pool, but with most of the showers out of action and the steam room closed, would this really be justified?

Again, staff are lovely but only interact with them while handing my card over when I go in.

Definitely DO NOT recommend.

Friendly staff, but that's about it.

The gym is dirty and poorly managed but unfortunately this is the best you can find in Leamington Spa.

Most of the machines are old or did not receive proper maintenance over time, thus do not expect precision when working out.

Management takes ages to fix faulty machines or to do general maintenance.

Took them +1 week to fix the only fly machine available in the gym (this happened a couple of times over a 3 months period) and 3 weeks to have the soap dispensers replaced in the shower room. You don't really want to ask liquid soap to the guy showering next to you.

The handles for the cable machines are overused and you will never find them where they are supposed to be, as there is not much staff around and they tidy the place up whenever they can.

There are no resistance bands or any kind of stretching tool available anywhere in the gym. Not a big deal bringing mine from home, but this should be quite a basic service to offer.

Management allow their customers to drink water from the water dispenser using plastic glasses, so do not be surprised when you find dozens empty (and not) left all over the place. Feels more like someone had a picnic in the gym and forgot to collect their garbage.

The floor is dusty and full of topsoil (people use their daily shoes to train, brilliant), even and especially on the stretching mattes, which confirm the picnic experience.

During winter air-con is working at full power especially in the strength room. Not a good thing especially if you train early in the morning (as much as 8.30 can be defined "early")

For the service they offer i think £50 a month is unfair.

Love/ Hate relationship with this gym, I love the classes, the instructors are great (Izzy brings so much sass & motivation to her classes which makes it fun & hard work but she can't do every class!) they just need to invest more money on instructors to keep the good ones and the equipment. Unfortunately the flooring is bad in the studio, equipment is very out of date in the gym and the pool is always dirty. If they invested as much money on the gym/studio/ instructors as they did with students perks you would have an awesome gym. The atmosphere is great, the staff are really friendly and genuinely look happy to be there which is always a bonus. Fantastic location. Come on! Spend some money and make it amazing.

I really enjoyed coming to the club almost daily during my visit to Leamington. Nick's pilates class was excellent and worth attending on a regular basis. The place is not in perfect nick or with the latest equipment but the staff are very nice and there is plenty of good things to make up for that... nice people and a good vibe. Enough equipent to get a good training session in. I enjoyed the stream bath (when it was working) pool and sauna. The whole daily ritual helped made my trip top notch. I will definitely return here.
