Excellent helpful staff who provided samples and ordered a sample they didn't have (it arrived in 4 days). Prices were clear and the range was terrific. We found what we wanted and now have the flooring ready to lay. Quality of the engineeered style looks good and we hope will be tough and provide many years of service. Much better than going to big DIY stores!

Very impressed with the service . Website clear and easy to navigate round . James (junior sales assistant) I would think wont be junior for too long. Been excellent with communications and advice. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the delivery time slot of 8-6pm and no text or call from external delivery company on when expected delivery would be.

the store response to our needs was excellent. My only complaint is the the kerbside delivery policy is a strong negative particularly if you are a householder and your tradesmen are not on site on the day of delivery.i will be warning my friends and neighbours about this.

Unfortunately my entire experience with Flooring Supplies UK was pretty terrible.They had been recommended to me by a friend who picked up flooring in stock on the day, so maybe it's fine if that is what you trying to do, but my experience was appalling.

I ordered my flooring at the Edmonton store and due to the fact that I had completed on my flat the day before said I would go to Croydon to collect it a couple of days later. It was 3 packs short of the 13 I needed, but I was told they would be in stock the next week at Edmonton so I could go and get them then.

Unfortunately when I got to Croydon, the packs were much bigger than what I had been told in the Edmonton store (twice the size!!!)The sales assistant was adamant that they wouldn't go into my sister's car (he was wrong - all 10 packs at 2.2 meters went in) but the only way we could get the underlay in as well was to put it on the top of the car. Instead he arranged for us to pick it up from Edmonton later on that day.When we arrived, the girl who had taken my original order apologised re giving me the wrong size of the packs. We picked up the underlay arranged delivery for the extra 3 packs that weren't yet in stock and left - so I had been inconvenienced, but not the end of the world.

Things went downhill from here...

I got a missed call on the Wednesday and then an email telling me that my stock would be delivered on 15 October (it was 16 October when I got the email...) The guy I spoke to on the phone said the email was wrong but it would be in a bit earlier than they thought, so I said I would speak to my builder and see when he would be at the property to take delivery.I called back the next day to advise them on when we could accept the delivery and I was told that the email and the person I had spoken to was wrong and it would not be in stock till 17 November - a whole month later!!!

This wasn't mentioned at any time that there could be a delay to the second part of my order. I would have chosen another style had I know this. My choices were to have a different floor in my bedroom and half my hallway, or wait. So my only choice was to wait.

So I had to cancel my builder for the following week, work with him to work out how he could fit in coming back weeks later with his other jobs, cancel the delivery of my bed and mattress (so sleep on the sofa for a few weeks) and stop any plans for unpacking my flat with the bedroom and part of the hallway not floored...

Various incorrect emails came through from the company after this...

The flooring came in 9 days earlier than they thought and I arranged delivery. I asked if they could deliver first thing in the morning to assist us with laying early the next day. They said they would try but couldn't guarantee due to the courier. The flooring arrived at 2.45pm in a Flooring Supplies branded van...This surprised me as surely you can guarantee a first thing delivery if the courier is your own van? I would have thought they would have gone out of their way to try and appease me after all of the issues I had gone through, but seemingly not.

I was given £75 refund for the inconvenience and two further packs at cost price on flooring for an order that cost me over £1700. I don't think this 'goodwill gesture' reflects the inconvenience and overall customer service shambles I experienced in virtually every part of my order.

I would never use this company again.

The flooring products themselves are good. However it is a shame the store doesn't keep a larger stock in the warehouse and underlay seems so difficult to come by.
Customer service extremely poor and their is a training issue which needs attention.
On the three occasions I attended the store a young lady was completely out of her depth, totally uninterested and deliberately hid herself behind the desk top. The young guy with facial hair and plaits I think had no time to serve me, his product information was shaky. Not a good customer service experience.

Since I expressed and interest in some flooring the whole process from quote to purchase has been impeccable. I special me mention for the team, especially Idel, for making the process smooth and inefficient. I was regularly kept up-to-date on the stock position and given advice on when to secure stock to try and reduce lead times. The price and technical advice was spot on too. Highly recommended.

High quality products backed by a friendly and efficient service. Staff are friendly. You can also return over quantities for a refund less a small fee. Used them for the first time recently and have already used them for a second job.

Great service from Ahmed Obisanya, always answered my e-mails promptly called me to follow up my order. Can't fault the chap as he's been super helpful.
Order was done quickly and efficiently with no problems at all, I'd certainly use him and flooring supplies again. Top marks and thank you for the A1 service.
