Milners

I have taken a wonderful employment opportunity at Milners at the start of June 2020. I have never been in the flooring sales environment. I have been taught so much about the flooring industry by the excellent team at Milners. I must say I enjoy coming to work and I throughly love the team. I am so great full for the team for giving me this amazing opportunity. I learn something new every day and what I love the most is taking the initial steps for a floor covering to see it being laid and to top it off hearing back from customers about how pleased they are. I can’t wait for the future I have with Milners and I’m so proud to represent the well thought of family name.

Big thank you to Simon who laid amtico floor in the family bathroom. I liked it so much that now I will replicate it in my on suite. Simon was very precise with the measurement and very patient laying every small triangle from the edges.

Working with Gary and the team at Milners has been a really positive experience. We have been renovating a community hub and right at the start Gary generously donated and helped us sort out the old flooring in the snooker room with carpet tiles. More recently Mark did a fantastic job fitting carpet and vinyl in other spaces, problem solving as he went along. Gary, Tony, Tony Mark and the wholl team, thank you very much, fantastic job.

The whole experience with Milners was fabulous, we started by having a delightful chap come to the house to measure up the carpet, he had some really sensible ideas and made us feel that he really knew what he was talking about. We then dealt with Tony Wheeler, who has to be the most patience man I know. We ordered to carpet in the Spring and due to unforeseen building difficulties, we couldn't lay the carpet until the Winter. Tony was full of understand each time I had to phone to delay things further, there was never any upset or annoyance shown, he was just sympathetic and full of understanding. The carpet has now been laid and the whole process was just great, we had 2 great guys come to the house, they were tidy and respectful and left the house feeling like a home as opposed to a building site. I could not find (not that I was looking) any fault with Milners, they were fantastic from start to finish and I cannot thank them enough for what they did for us. Thank you again, you are all wonderful!

An absolutely outstanding job! The new extension to our church, St Mary's in Headley, is shaped as an octagon so we wanted the flooring to complement the building design. We worked with Milners using Amtico to develop the design with a central motif and with the surround laid to reflect the octagon. What a stunning result! The flooring certainly enhances the extension and Garry Milner and his colleagues have been a pleasure to work with. Thank you Milners!

Milners carpeted three of our bedrooms and installed new flooring in our kitchen and utility room. Their service was impeccable from start to finish and went above and beyond what we expected. From matching a competitors quote to repairing a tile, that our cat managed to damage, without complaint. We will have no hesitation in using them again. So good to find such an excellent, local company

We chose Milners and an Amtico flooring a few months ago. We are really pleased with the flooring and especially Simon the fitter who was a perfectionist, lining up the sheets against the walls, no bumps and even when moving furniture around.
