J&I Carpets

Very poor customer service and lack of communication with customer. Had a quote for £3500 with a waiting time of a couple of weeks. Managed to find somewhere else in wrexham, same exact carpet but was quoted £1900, plus fitted it a couple of days later. My house now Looks amazing. Crazy how this company could justify such a high place. Complete rip off. Avoid these cowboys. Typical company in oswestry. Clueless.

We have used J&I Carpets on 3 occasions on our home in Oswestry. Our recent job was to lay a new stair carpet and in the hall & dining room to lay new Karndean flooring.
The standard of their work and professionalism from start to finish can't be faulted. The change from carpet to Karndean flooring was one we weren't too sure about so called into the showroom on a few occasions to ask questions; each time being answered clearly and left to make our own mind up.
They turned up on the date and times promised, worked very professionally and left us with everything finished very much to our satisfaction.
We are not easily given to providing 5 star reviews, but in the case of J&I Carpets, based on the 3 times we have used them throughout our house, it is a grading they all thoroughly deserve.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others.

J&I are supplying the carpets for my new build property and I was informed at very short notice that the chosen carpet would not now be available to fit to the scheduled date agreed due to an issue with the manufacturer.
I gave Katie from J&I a really hard time intially as the revised date was totally unacceptable. However Katie was very calm and understood my fraught manner. We discussed 3 different options and by the end of the day we had agreed on a similar carpet to be sourced and supplied to get back on schedule. It was actually a slightly larger weight, more durable option which will be supplied at the same price as the previous choice.
All the way through Katie was proactive, calm and reassuring with solving the problem paramount in her priorities. Katie went beyond and above expectations.
I am new to the area and new reliable businesses and suppliers are hard to find. Katie and J&I Carpets is certainly a local business I would wholly recommend.

We found the team so helpful in store when making choices and then the fitting of the carpets went so smoothly and all rubbish cleared away and carpets hoovered. A lovely family business to work with and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We had our entire upstairs, hall and landing re-carpeted and had our hallway screed and the karndean flooring extended from in the kitchen into the hallway and downstairs toilet. Really fantastic end result. A month quicker than carpetright could offer. Competitive price. The lads that came to fit were all excellent and everything was done really quickly and to a really high standard.
