DO NOT BUY THROUGH THESE IF YOU HAVE A 2ND FLOOR FLAT AS THEY DO NOT DELIVER!!!

Absolutely shocking. We ordered our new corner sofa from Mike - nice enough guy, seemed to know most things. Being completely amateurs at buying a sofa, we felt in safe hands with Mike and couldn't wait for our sofa to arrive. At the time of ordering, we mentioned we were a second floor flat and Mike didn't batter an eye lid, everything was all good.
Today, the day of arrival, two men jump out of their delivery van ready to offload our new sofa. Happy days.
Actually wait no, because on arrival, these men ask me what floor my flat is on. Obviously I tell them second floor and they go on to say that they don't deliver to second floor.
Excuse me? Yes we don't deliver to second floor because we can injure ourselves. Firstly, why the hell did Mike not tell us this vital bit of information? And secondly, for two healthy men to not be able to carry up two sofas up another set of stairs was beyond me.
In the end, the guys said I had two options. To either take it to the first floor, or take it back to the depot. Either way, I was in a sticky situation. In the end, the delivery men drop off the sofas to the 1st floor and I needed to find some random person on the street to help me take the sofas up into my flat!!

Can't believe how bad of a service they provide, lets just hope the sofa is worth the money.

I had currently ordered from SCS but but the sofa they had sold me was faulty, so arranged for a refund.
SCS rung me on monday and told me they were collecting the faulty sofa on wednesday and if i was not in i would be charged £300!!
I went to Harvey's and found the perfect sofa but it would take 12 weeks to be made a d sent to me. I expained my situation and the manager actually loaned me a sofa and got it delivered from the store until my sofa was made and delivered. Thank you so much Harvey's!

Bought a sofa from the Harlow store and had great customer service from Tes (who remembered me 7 weeks later!) However i was told that i should sort my finance application closer to my delivery time aprox 7 weeks. i had no issue with this but this was when the problems started...
i called the customer services line and was told i would have to wait on hold for at least 60 mins without an option for a call back so i tried again later. i also had the same issue later that day. i then went on the pop up chat to try and organise delivery and they told me i should email as they could not do anything. once i emailed i did not get a response at all.
after that i called customer services on another number and they gave the option for a call back, once they called they told me that actually i couldn't do anything over the phone like i have been previously advised and i should call the Harlow store.
This was a friday afternoon so when i called the store the manager told me that as long as i arrived before 6pm i would not have to wait long as there would be at least 2 members of staff there, i did arrive at 17;45 and he had obviously warned Tes (and the other member of staff i have issue with) This older gentlemen was rather rude and told me to come back tomorrow, after i told him that i had spoken to his manager and that they would be able to process my application he became rude, told me he was leaving and walked off.
When Tes had finished dealing with another customer he apologised for his colleague and said he didn't know why he was so grumpy and had been like that all day and wanted to go home. after that it was smooth sailing and i was done in ten minutes.
All in all a bit disappointing, 2 stars for phone customer service, zero for the older employee and 5 for Tes.

Bought a sofa from this store, said it would take 13-15 weeks for delivery. Still waiting 18 weeks later. Not a good place to go if you want a sofa to be on time. Can say about the quality of the sofa as we still don't have it. Not recommend at all.

Poor. Brought a sofa which cost over a grand and hasn't even lasted 2 years. Material too thin and how has a hole in it. Went down to Harlow store where the sales guy (older chap) was really rude too me and scoffed at me because I didn't know the exact name of the sofa. I had to walk away and get my husband to deal with him. Basically told they don't do that sofa and sod all we can do but buy a new one. I know they don't last a life time but expected it to last longer than 2 years. Avoid

It is a horrible place. If I could give zero stars I would. Do Not Go Here! I ordered a sofa and dining set and they were due for delivery in November. The sofa came in January, 3 months after it was due and it was not assembled. It has been left in my living room since.
They have an inresponsible customer service. It has been months of back and forth calls with nothing being done.

GO ELSEWHERE FOR A BETTER SERVICE.

Those of you who know Harveys furniture the Harlow Store realise they share the building with the Bensons For Beds ( Harveys downstairs, Bensons upstairs). Whilst negotiating my Bensons For Beds long over due refund, a member of staff from Harveys, called Tracy Shepherd stuck her nose into my negotiation. She was giving me another excuse why I will not get the refund because the central system can not be unlocked, then she gets all Bensons for beds members of staffs to agree with her lies in order to help them denying my refund, bearing in mind this is nothing to do with her nor Harveys furniture for she does not have the full facts. Quite bizarrely, she even demanded my name and address from Holly, a member of Bensons for Beds, presumably because she wants to pay me a personal visit at home!! Though not sure legally she has any rights to. After sorting out refund upstairs I visited her downstairs in Harveys furniture to ask her why she behaved so badly to customer, she replied “excuse me! Who do you think you are talking to!? Everybody’s made redundant here! Harveys’s under administration, closing! She told me 4 or 5 times to get out the building while chasing me so close to my body so that social distancing rule was completely broken.

I am now listening to the recorded event at home, ready for whatever Tracy Shepherd from harveys Harlow store will do to me. As a loyal Harveys customer I purchased sofa suites and dinning table and chairs Last year and still very happy with the purchase, however an absolutely shocking experience with Tracy Shepherd today! So sad to know Harveys is in financial trouble and no wonder if they employ staff like her.

Very friendly staff, a good range of items in the store. I am happy with my new sofa and look forward to my quick delivery within a week.
