My review is of the experience, not of the product, the final product is spot on, but getting there was a little painful. I found the shop experience uncomfortable, being chased around by sales people and found the manager to be very arrogant. I was made to sit down and given some kind of interview before the transaction was made. Delivery was quicker than I imagined, even though I did not pay the £40 for the "Allocated date" - what a rip off! I took the day off work to receive the goods only to open it up and find a desk that appeared to have either been dropped from a great height, or hit by a bus. I must say customer service was better than I thought it would be and I received a replacement within only four days - the final product as I say was a solid, working and unblemished piece of solid oak furniture. Shame, as I actually really liked their range, just not the way they sell them, so probably won't go back to Cambridge OFL.

One stuff member was very frustrating and had no customer service. Let me warn anyone who what to buy something out of there the free delivery that they say they do you will need to wait 21days for them to do plus they only let you know on the day they want to deliver your product or you can pay an extra £40.00 on top of the price of the product for a delivery time that sites you. Anywhere else will have time you organise a time and day to site you to deliver your product or if you do have to pay extra for somewhere else it wouldn't be £40.00 what a joke

Found it a good service until delivery. Furniture delivered to room location in boxes. Then up to the customer to unpack, fit handles and lift top of dresser onto base. Boxes must be kept in case return necessary. Not even offered a full deliver service at additional cost. Disappointed. Reluctant to buy from Furnitureland again.

A reasonably good-sized store. Went there to see the real object before purchasing online. The brand has certainly come a long way from being a catalogue business in the past. Relaxed staff - we were free to roam the store and browse. Just how we like it.

Good variety of stock but the usual pushing salesperson technique was a bit frustrating. Came rushing over to us, reeling off his sales script as soon as we came through the door.

OK, broken coffee table, broken single bed, cracked TV unit, different single mattresses, not symmetrical cupboard doors which don't close properly, extra firm magnets which you have to pull with both hands, ripping your hands, holes on the furniture filled out with polifillers (type of wood apparently?) not fitting drawers, and a king size mattress which dipped in one side and is normal apparently. Moist and bubbled mirror back which don't sit on the wall.. Reassuring at the showroom on how good the customer service and furniture cover is.. And many hours on the phone with customer services.. Doesn't even deserve 1 star as far as I am concerned. I have developed depression due to sleepless nights and distress with my new furniture, thanks to oak furniture land. I feel like I am damned somehow, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, waste of time and big money!

The salesman was exceptionally good without being pushy. However as they insisted on charging for delivery on a fairly large order we walked out without purchasing

The sofa we bought is nice but we are very let down by the delivery process. We paid premium delivery as we urgently needed the sofa. They allocated us a slot between 7.30am to 10am. I called them to say it was my moving day and I couldn't be in the new property so early. They didn't offer any alternative, except renouncing to the slot and have it delivered the following week. I explained them the only reason I bought that couch was because it was in stock and we needed one urgently if we didn't want to sit on the floor. They said they couldn't do anything to change slot, but that we were the 3rd delivery of the day so they would come around 9am. Result? The next day they phoned us at 6.30 in the morning (!!) to say they were coming to deliver. My husband had to jump from bed and drive quickly to the new property. We were literally exhausted from the moving of the day before. They SHOULD NOT phone people at 6.30am, it's not an acceptable time, on top of being absolutely uncompromising with the slot after paid a lot of money for the delivery. Not happy at all.
