Tapps Garden Centre

Can't believe we've lived in the area for 3 years and not known about this place! We went to 4 other garden centres yesterday and then found exactly what we wanted here today!! Great selection of house plants too... maybe another day...!

Lovely selection of plants and pots. Good hygiene in place at the moment. Food closed at present. Dogs not allowed.

Desperately needs a makeover. Empty shelves and tapped off areas didn't help. Cafe is quaint, though staff could have been a little friendlier. Cakes were okay, but didn't feel as fresh as they could.

Popped in for a look around, a lovely little place very welcoming the plants are displayed very invitingly they are well maintained and look gorgeous. Easy to see stuff although they could do with marking up what is perrenial biannual or annuals as it would help relatively novice gardeners like me. Cafe looks nice although didn't go in.

Nice that this is right opposite allotments. Not a big garden centres but big enough. Had lots of bits and bobs that I’ve not seen elsewhere.
Had a coffee shop but didn’t visit. Maybe next time.

One of these days I'll have something other than the gardeners lunch in the restaurant! So yummy

The best place for fireworks, really good. Nice tea room, and a small garden centre. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great cafe and good selection of bird food.
