Coblands Garden Centre & Cafe, Sevenoaks

Wow such an array of colour as I entered Coblands. I started to come here during lockdown when garden centre's were one of the only things open apart from supermarket's. I have bought many different plants from here and have never had a problem with them at all. I'm not a gardener, but I like my little garden. The staff here are always approachable for tips and support.
The cafe is great to visit for a coffee and a bite to eat or an ice cream on a hot day.
Definitely worth a visit.

Good quality shrubs ,trees and plants. And if your not sure there is plenty of staff around the site are only to willing to help .Great delivery service as well .

Great big garden centre...a joy to walk around whether to buy or to browse.

Nice staff too, especially the young helpful chap at the till whose name I did not ask.

They may be a bit short staffed as I certainly found it difficult to get help despite it being a Saturday when one would expect more customers. Oh, BTW they do have Dicentra in stock despite what one staff member told me ..I bought a nice big one.

Been there a few times since and again staff were helpful without being too knowledgeable about their stock. At 40% off for Orchard cardholders, I simply had to buy a lot of plants.

Very poor service. Very slow. Ordered a tea cake and a cup of tea. But they had to cook all the meals that were in front of us first so had finished tea and still no sign of cake. Asked for them to be refunded and very rudely was told to wait until they had served other customers. Won’t bother going back that’s for sure.

The garden centre is great. You can’t review the cafe separately.

Staff were lovely and super friendly. The Chicken and Leek pie was excellent. Plants in excellent condition and a few bargains dotted around.

We travel from Southend area to go to coblands and have done so since the day it opened.
We have been extremely pleased both with the quality and the price of the flowers.
And given this we placed a substantial order for plants and trees for a commercial project on a school which they delivered on time and on budget.
The quality of plants are so much better than our local nursery’s

I was having some locks fitted on my van and needed a place to go to get out of the cold and found coblands garden center I went into there cafe and was met by a very nice very helpful staff member I had a full English breakfast and it was the best I’ve had for a very long time

I will definitely be coming back

Reasonably well organised post lockdown but not always easy to find what you want and when we went very limited garden vegetable plants available. Staff doing their best while obviously still getting used to best practices. Think they will get better in time and a large car park always a plus.

I’ve just updated this review and added one more star as having now been back twice recently, some 10 months later, one can see huge improvements all around this site with the addition of a cafe and a vastly improved range and stock of very healthy looking plants and more garden ornaments and general gardening requisites.
