The Rose & Crown

I stopped in for a flat white and cake on recommendation from a local businessman.
The atmosphere was nice, the two men working on shift were extremely kind and thoughtful providing an excellent service.
The red velvet cake was tasty moist and with a hint of lemon flavour making it a delicious cake, and whilst my health was taking a bash, every slice sold a donation goes to a local charity, so I read :) so worth the buy.
The coffee was very palatable, I wanted another.
I don’t drink alcohol, but they had Speckled Hen on tap… good choice from the days I used to enjoy a pint.
Service is everything. They hit the mark for me. I recommend for anyone to give it a try. If I’m back in the area, maybe I’ll try some food.

Nice setting off from the main square. Relaxed pub / restaurant with good menu and drinks selection. Nice tables inside & out. Very satisfied, we went back the next day for dinner also 😂

A really nice pub in Warwick with a great choice of craft beers in tap and higher end lagers.

About 10 minutes walk at most from Warwick Castle, in the town itself.

The staff are friendly.

Opens for breakfast 7 days a week and also serves dinner as well as evening meals, light bites and nibble.

Though the prices are at the high end, which is to be expected in Warwick.

Good seating inside and outside too for the Al Fresco feeling.

When in Warwick pop on in for yourself and enjoy.

Have to say, for the price of the food I was expecting much better. Had the special beef wellington and the pastry was quite soggy, and the service wasn't very good either. We had to ask several times for someone to take our order.

Nice hotel, room was a nice size, friendly staff, weird way in and out of the hotel out of hours but hey who am I to complain haha. I would recommend staying here. They also are environmentally friendly by reusing the same bottles for shampoo, etc a nice touch.

We stayed here October for an event at Warwick Castle.

The Rose and Crown made our stop over worthwhile. Already booked to go back soon!

The rooms were OK, nothing fancy, but in general these were spacious and clean.
I stayed there for two nights, I would expect a cleaning service in between, but no one turned up till the day I checked out.

The breakfast was superb, you could choose anything from the menu and service was great too.
You could have your breakfast next to the fireplace, the bar was cozy and warm.

No complaints at all.

Easily some of the best food I've ever had, monkfish tempura, venison sirloin and a three cheese dessert. The food was incredibly balanced and utterly delicious, the staff was very courteous and the atmosphere was excellent.

Me and my wife are here on holiday, I must say The Rose & Crown is noble diplomat of English cuisine, fine work!
