Really good food, pleasant friendly service in a nicely decorated pub.
There is a really large garden at the back with picnic tables. Just a note there were no swings or slide for the younger children.

Stopped at the pub after a Saturday of work. Pints were ice cold, staff was friendly and offered me a taste of some beers before I made my purchase. It's quiet, clean and has a nice outdoor section with plenty of seating available.

Average kind of pub. Few beers on tap and lots of cider to try. Food was bland and very beige, not unpleasant but just dull. Barman was very good, engaging, friendly and made an effort to greet and chat with everyone. Clean and modern, but uninspiring.

Very friendly pub with great food and well stocked bar. Good choice of wine beer and cider. The old skittles alley is very useful to hire out with its own bar. Lovely beer garden and lots of parking. All you need from a pub.

Not a local pub, and never been here before. Attendance was for a function.
Decent Guinness and friendly chatty staff. Overall experience was fine...

Lovely staff, but the place seemed a little bit run down from when I used to visit years ago.
The pub seems to be going through a transitional period, as they were advertising for a new Publican.
Nice garden to rear of the pub &;good sized garden.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Baguette was really tasty, but we were let down by the curry. Seemed like a small portion of a microwave meal. Bill seemed quite high, so drinks must have been around £9 for a coke and a cider! Which is a shame as the food was so reasonably priced.

Overall willing to give it another go, the food seems to be hit and miss but we'll have to try again and see if it was a one off. There's a lot to admire about this cosy local pub so I have high hopes.
