Apple Tree Gerrards Cross

We came across this restaurant on Easter weekend as we had to drive to Gerrards Cross for a short project. We had our Dog with us and needed a quick lunch somewhere pet friendly. When we called to check we were told that we could be seated outside with a pet, and they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly altho they cautioned that tables (first come first- served outside) were filling up quickly due to the lovely weather. We arrived to find a nice small patio/garden area adjoining the dedicated parking area. We ordered at the counter (our table was counter service) and were surprised by a very eclectic menu and not the usual pub food. They even have a vegan menu. We ordered the fish cakes, scallops and a burger. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly and overall this was a lovely surprise find. Will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

Popped in to try the food for a snack was greeted by Anna who was very polite, food was outstanding (salt and pepper squid). Was served by Ryan quick and very helpful would highly recommend it and will be back

An elegant outdoor setup, very good menu, best salmon I had for months now, great serving team. Nicely chilled Peroni.

If you drive and park your car.make sure you register your car registration. Otherwise you will receive heavy penalty ticket.
That's what happened to me my first visit.
Because pubs car park is run by private company. I guess to make more money out of customers.
There's sign tells you to register. But it doesn't say you will get parking penalty ticket if you don't register!!!

Stopped by yesterday with my husband (our first visit) as we were passing and we were truly blown away. We sat in the garden to enjoy the sunshine but the service was just as good as you’d expect sitting inside a restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be returning very soon!

Welcoming gastropub with a stylish interior. Food is very good but portions are quite small. Reasonable prices for the UK.

Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent place, excellent service - all round outstanding!
I had the double Gloucester pie and it was absolutely banging, portion sizes are a bit small but you really don't mind when the food is this good.

I've been raving about this place since I visited two weeks ago, absolutely coming back. A real hidden gem off the A40.

Really enjoyed my Sunday lunch here. I'm not always a fan of roasts in pubs but this was lovely. Great service too from everyone who worked there despite being extremely busy.
