The Architect

This place is just amazing. The food is fantastic, the personnel is ultra friendly and communicative, the premises are sparkling clean and the prices are definitely value for money! Highly recommend! 🤍

This pub has everything the demanding person can ask for:
- gluten free fish and chips and pies
- gluten free alcohol free beer
- naked fish and chips
- weiss beers like blue moon
- nice outside area
- best service!

We booked a table of around 15/16 for an afternoon after-theatre show meal and catch up. Friends and family gathered and had small children running around.

The place is clean, everything is really well maintained and it looks like the staff are proud of the place. Which is great. The atmosphere was good, everyone had a really good time.

The staff here couldn't be more attentive. The service was brilliant and couldn't fault them!
No matter what we threw at the staff they were more than happy to help with and they took it all in their stride with a smile on their face and took the time to talk to all of us.

Drinks were flowing and had a great range of drafts on offer, and the gin selection was really good.
My partner commented on how amazing the Lemon Gin was!

Food was absolutely spot on DELICIOUS!!!.
I ordered the meat and ale pie, which was so comforting!
My partner ordered the seaweed crumb on the haddock.
All the sides were fantastic. Everyone at the table was so very impressed with the food they ordered.

Would we go back? Absolutely. No doubt in my mind next time we are in Cambridge!

Excellent food, most of the menu is gluten-free which is a bonus. Service was genuinely friendly and prompt. Will come again, 1 star removed as high chairs were filthy, had to wipe it down properly ourselves.

Excellent service and very good food. They are well know for fish and chips which is excellently cooked. Calamari rings were very good as well. Interestingly you can choose the batter in which they fry which is a very nice touch.

Awesome pub with great beer selection and great service. But the very best of The Architect is it's fresh pub food in town. I had the Calamari and also the haddock with incredible freshness and taste. I really enjoyed it a lot. It also possible to taste several different beers.
