Lovely interior, our waitress was friendly and hospitable. However we were not impressed with the food. I ordered caeser salad, it was bland and boring, the stalk of the lettuce with the leaves attached was in the salad which was off putting & shows very little effort had gone into the presentation. My partner had mussels, he was concerned that they hadn't been thoroughly clean, they had remaining beard on them, cracked shells, and some of them had barnacles inside, he was concerned as to how fresh they were, he also found a sea urchin. The sauce was nice but a little thin so didn't hold well on the mussels. The fries were really nice but small portion. For the price of the meals, we would be expecting the quality to be a lot higher. Also only one ladies toilet available as the other two had out of order signs on the door. We were also told quite a few items off the menu weren't available including rekordlig cider and broccoli.

The Pheasant Inn is a nice place to visit for a meal or just a drink. We came across it whilst driving to Crosby, so on out way back to Southport we decided pop in for a quick drink and a meal.

Our food was extremely tasty and was served nice and hot, our drinks were nice and cold, and the staff were nice and friendly. The scenery was very pleasant indeed.

The Pheasant Inn was very clean inside and out, I've not really got any complaints.

Thank you...

Came here for food and my gosh was it amazing!!

The staff are so lovely and welcoming.

The drinks are lovely

But the food is something else! We have already planned to return at the end of October.

It has such a warm feeling, definitely good for a family meal, date night or just out with us friends!

Our party of 16 visited the Pheasant for a late lunch. The whole experience was great. Firstly, the food was awesome - we ordered 3 courses from the festive menu and tried most of the options between us, from the traditional turkey dinner, to the awesome Festive burger to veggie options - everyone was happy. Secondly the building itself is great, had a very welcoming, festive feel. Finally, all the staff were great. All in all a great experience. Thanks.

Gorgeous setting, lovely interior food looked fabulous but all three meals (the 3 meat roast & children's chicken & chips) was stone cold! didn't complain at time as been waiting long enough for food and type 1 diabetic and already gave myself my needle, so wouldn't of been able to wait for another to be plated up! Had to ask for salt pepper & sauces as none was out (understand for covid reasons) but never even got asked if we would like any! Shame really as a lovely place

Great food! We had the crispy duck salad and the crispy duck pizza. Food itself was lovely and the crispy duck pizza was of generous size. We asked to see the gluten free menu. Unfortunately they don't have a separate gf menu. We were given an tablet to see what ingredients/ dishes were gf. This being a very slow process as it wasn't clear at all hence the 4 stars. Dishes on the tablet showed dishes that were not available and we had to cross check with the current serving menu.
