Food was amazing - the best salsa on nachos I've ever had. Chips felt home cooked. I had the Bubble mixed kebab and was very filling! Was too full for dessert so cant comment on that, which for that reason, and the fact I didnt use the toilets I cant give it a 5 star review - dont sleep on this place though - go check it out!!

Great little gasto pub. Very quirky and oozes character.

On entry, you are greeted with the comforting smell of freshly made food from the kitchen, you know right away this will be a great experience.

I dined in with a few friends, for a two course meal and a few drinks. I opted for the sicilian kebab. The chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned with classic Italian herbs. It was presented on a bed of salad which consisted of sliced mozzarella, baby tomatoes, lettuce on a flat bread. The dish came with a dip, which was a mayonnaise based herby delight.

The chips here are amazing, freshly hand cut and double fried. I had a taste of my friends halloumi kebab, which was sensational, the cheese was not salty like your supermarket rubbish, this was the real deal.

For dessert I had the cheesecake, again a top dish. Very light fluffy cheese accompanied with a jug of cream.

Staff were very professional, attentive and akways had a smile. I highly reccomend this place, will definitely be back.

Stopped of here after a day visiting, the place is very well set out. We were greated as soon as we arrived and shown to a table. We ordered the Sunday dinners of lamb and beef. The food was extremely well cooked and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a decent sized car park across the road from the Inn. Would recommend a visit.

Great place to eat and a lovely atmosphere too. Nick the guy who manages it was really attentive and friendly. I hope business picks back up for them very soon after the Covid impact. They certainly deserve to do well and am sure lots will catch on to the great food they serve.
Had whitebait starter and it was perfect. Really well cooked and presented. Then we both had the Special Kebab. Honestly it was huge but delicious. Generous portions and chips were yummy.
Even though I was so full, I could not resist the caramel apple pie. One of the best deserts I have ever had.
We will definitely be going back. Food great, service great and ambience really pleasant. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Lovely surroundings and decor, staff very friendly and attentive.
Really disappointed when the chicken on my kebab was uncooked in the middle.
We were told it was due to it being the thigh and was cooked because it was 72 degrees, it didn't feel this hot on the outside to me let alone the centre and it was definitely red and uncooked around the skewer.
My husband did not want to eat any more of his kebab because of what I had found and we were not charged for either meal.
A real shame as everything else was perfect.

Popped in here on August 12th, mid afternoon, for something to eat. Food was excellent and very well presented. The staff were friendly, polite and very efficient.
We sat outside in well kept courtyard as the weather was nice and we had a 3 year old with us.
I've read some of the reviews and can't see why people think it's expensive and overpriced, We had the house burger, a fish burger, a child's fish and chips, 2 sides, a dessert and a scoop of ice cream, 2 pints of diet coke, a glass of wine, a gin and fever tree tonic and a fruit drink all for £37.95. To me, that's very good value. Highly recommended.
