Was sent here by my doctors surgery for a blood pressure test. This meant I was seen within 7 days instead of waiting nearly two months to see my GP.
The hospital does not have an emergency unit but serves more as an outpatients. Has a fairly large car park catering for disabled and child parking. Inside is bright clean with a central reception. You can get a hot or cold drink with snacks from machines. There are plenty of toilets dotted around the hospital.

Nice clean modern, nurse & doctor have been very nice, bit of a running joke with reception run by old volunteers maybe over 70 years old plus, I think they may require a diversity & how to deal with the public training courses 😂 cannot see with their eyes, read or spell & don't seem to know how to use the computers as the lists our written down, but as they forgot there glasses could not see the list, would make a good CARRY ON FILM 😆😆😆

Most efficient service from the x-ray department today, I was in and out within 5 minutes, no waiting around. Nice clean, modern hospital and not having to trek to QA is just fantastic.

Fareham community Hospital does NOT have a minor injuries clinic. Gosport Memorial or Southampton General are only real options

Excellent and very efficient hospital. My only grumble would be that the car park is a bit on the small side. On a positive note the car park is free for the first 3 hours and not too expensive for longer. Just remember, even if you are staying less than the 3 hours you still need to print a ticket from the meter. My visit was to take my son to the physio department who provided a first class service.

Really useful outpatients facility that saves having to go much further afield with added difficulty of traffic and parking issues.
Unusual designed building in a quarter circular form, giving access to a large number of rooms dealing with a variety of medical specialisations.
Ample seating area in the foyer either side of the reception desk. Cheerful staff who direct patients to the appropriate section. Further individual waiting areas adjacent to the consultation rooms, eases the number of attendants. A snack and drinks machines are also in the waiting area, together with toilet facilities.
The whole site is well controlled and a pleasure to attend.

Just had my jab at Fareham Community Hospital. Wow, what an efficient system, and so friendly with it too - you are doing an amazing job! Loads of volunteers in and out the building keeping the flow of people safe and moving through. Makes me proud to be British! Thank you.
